I am curious to get an update on Thermal Detonators, especially by Sunday evening. I am hoping to score a couple for myself and some friends next Friday.

Eek! Are they going solo or are there one/two out at a time? Are the Disney ones still inside...? I'm SO confused as to the order we are going to do this in still... >_<

No worries. Luke,leia,r2d2 are inside the tent, the line just started on the outside, side of the tent because inside was so packed...the disney sw are outside by great movie ride, no umbrellas as if 3:30.

I really hope they get those babies up by tomorrow. That is, by far, the hottest line to wait in.

Where are Chip and Dale setting up?

Is it super crowded there? I am trying to mentally picture how they are queuing that line to keep folks away from the Chewy line.

Right now inside backlot express recharging my phone and myself one word people: HEAT.....Its like they say sww and the temps go up ten degrees...havent been able to check out any shows. The merch tent is crazy but i got my daughter the het universe necklace she wanted, plus while waiting Ashley E came inside for her signing ,recognized me and asked me about my daughter....shes soooo nice.
I asked about the l.e.things and they still had everything, said that at this rate they might start selling out by the end of next weekend...the merchandise tent had A LOT of stuff. I'll stay here for about an hour and go check on character lines, I'll do the shows tomorrow.....oh yeah
Just walked by the stage and people are already grabbing spots for Hoopla smh.

The line for chip and dale snakes back into streets of america where the fake city skyline is so it doesn't affect that area, still people stop to take pictures of them or chewie so its pretty crowded

Thanks, that was what I was thinking. But like I said, that whole area is always so that I can't even imagine adding another popular character to the mix. I feel for anyone trying to get through there with a wheelchair, ECV (heck, even a stroller!)

Ds got picked for the 11 am motorcade as we entered the park at 9am-ish.

About to head into premiere theater- saw people with spots for hoopla already! Oh the humanity!

Fastpass for a character? How does that work? Wonder if this is only for special cases like yours or if it will be more common.

It worked because they had people queued inline for 2 hrs and no update for over an hour and half despite people asking numerous times when he was coming out (Chewie). Even the photographer came out before 8:30 and waited over an hour and 10 minutes before he came out. The park people were very kind in giving us a special fast pass/voucher to see another character of our choosing with no/little wait. Basically pixie dust spread our way.

So, the way things look today, would it be possible to devote a day for characters and get them all? I think that will be my goal on the last weekend, simply character photos.

Not with the luck we had ahaha. 2 hrs for Chewie (and the Ewoks werent even out with him at that point booo!), at least an hour for Chip n Dale, short line for Darth Goofy with Stormyrooper Donald because we got in line before the end of the motorcade but still at least 45 min there. Bobs Fett was about a half hour - 45 min and we were the last til he changed with Jango. We missed Jedi mickey and Minnie princess. Also missed r2d2 and c3po because when we got in line about 3 (maybe a little later) they weren't there. Tey wouldn't be returning until after 6. Darth Maul moved fast it seemed small really and again for Darth Vader we had a fast pass because of issues. We'd never get through in one day with change outs. But we did a lot and are fried. Time for swimming!

It is very hard to do all of the characters in one day simply because of the change outs. With Kenny's times that should be posted sometime soon I think it is possible but you have to be smart about it and it will be the only thing you do all day. If you are willing to cut a few, they it is a bit more manageable. The change outs for the characters are what make it difficult to do all of them because literally you could have to attempt a line 3 times to get the character you want.

You will wait an hour or upwards for the Mickey line, Chewbacca, Vader, and apparently now Chip and Dale. I would suggest doing Vader first in the morning.
