Official Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend 2016 Thread (Jan. 14-17, 2016)

All I see in the link is a dropdown for the 10K. So I can only look up my name, but not DH and DS since they are doing the 5K.




JUST got the email about the event guide being up. And, despite recent announcements, and note this was sent TODAY....

You have to view it on your phone not computer...for me phone allows me to select challenge, but desktop only shows 10k option.

That was my issue as well. Switched to the phone and I was able to see everything.

RunDisney doesn't usually release bib numbers for the 5K, you find out when you pick up your packet.

The Bib Number should be on your waiver when you print it out.

Yes. When I read that earlier I thought "huh?" because DS and I have known our 5K bib info beforehand. Looked in my documents on my computer, and yep, it's on the waivers.

Star Wars Run Outfits

I decided on my outfits for each of the runs yesterday. I ended up shopping at Fifth Sun for the tank tops. They should arrive sometime in the next two weeks!

This will be reused at Star Wars - The Dark Side in April for either the 10K or Half.

Hopefully a new sparkle skirt or plain black capris

The best part of this is that I get to reuse it 5 Weeks later at Princess Glass Slipper Challenge!

For the 10k I think I'll wear my raw threads "May the Course be with you" shirt, even though it says 13.1 on the back. For the half I want to wear my team shirt since I'm running for a charity this year. The team shirt is blue and black so I'm thinking of picking up a new sparkle skirt to go with both tops. We'll see.

Hows training going for everyone? What mileage are you going up to for your final long run? I've honestly never trained past 10 miles. Its worked fine. I'm trying to decide if I want to do another 10 miler next or if I want to add another mile or so. Thoughts?

I'm a bit confused because I usually run the halfs but this time I'm doing the 10k. Will they release corral information for the 10k? My bib number is 31276 and I am curious as to which corral that will be.....

I'm in E by like 50 numbers. My husband is in A.

Looks like we are both in A for the 5K though as we both are within the first 25 numbers of those bibs.
