Does Kent dance with Robert? I hope so because he hasn't really been given much for this final show.

Ughh...I am irritated that Kent has gotten the goofy dances tonight while Robert got the serious one. That was not a good dance for the finale at all. For a change, I'm going to have to agree with Mia on this one! Grrrrrrr........

Kent needs to adapt and make the best out of what he's given like Robert did when given all the ballroom dances.

That was amazing. He was in a totally different place with that one. That is the kind of routine meant for the finale. While I haven't been a big Robert fan, he has grown on me in the last several weeks.

This is the first finale I can remember where I can honestly say I will be happy whatever the outcome. And to think my favorite, Alex, could have been in the mix as well!

Alex was my favorite, by far. After his injury, Lauren and Kent became my favorires. I, too, will be fine with the outcome.

Lauren really impresses me. She is so good at everything they throw at her. She really is amazing.

I thought you all might find this kind of amusing. On our very looong drive home from NC last night we passed through lovely Wapakoneta last night. There was a homemade sign to vote for Kent spread alongside a cornfield and a professionally made banner hung on the side of a shed/barn alongside the freeway that announced that Wapakoneta is the home of Kent Boyd. Of course DH couldn't understand why our 12 year old was begging to go to Wapakoneta!

Last night's show was interesting. Can't wait to see what happens tonight.

I thought all the dancers did very well last night. The show just doesn't have that "spark" for me though since Alex left.

Disappointed in the Mandy Moore jazz routine for Lauren & Kent. What was that? My beginners can do those steps she gave them. It was like a lindy hop routine. She has never been my favorite choreographer & I'm surprised she's still on the show - maybe she has a contract. Nothing she ever does has that WOW factor IMO.

I just for the heck of it looked at DialIdol, and the predictions are unbelievable. Not because of who is in first, but because there is only 1% between the first and third place! It's anyone's guess who the winner will be, but this is the first time I can honestly say it doesn't matter to me. They are all so good!

Just a note of interest. Nigel had tweeted that he had arrived at the show with an hour to spare, after coming back from England visiting an ill brother-in-law who passed away earlier this morning.

It probably would have been a very different season with Alex. Even if he can't come back to the show, I just hope he regains all of his abilities. I would love to see him dance in person some day.

I agree the Mandy Moore piece was definitely lacking, but she has done some wonderful routines in the past. I was uncomfortable watching them tell her live her work was terrible. That type of thing doesn't make for good TV in my book. Kent really seemed off his game the rest of the night after this performance and critique. It's not that he danced poorly, but his head was in a different place after that.

Those dancers must have been completely exhausted after last night.

Wow, this is all the attention the finale gets?

I thought the show was great and the right person won. It was nice to see all the favorite dances revisited too. I can't wait for next season already lol

I didn't care who won either...I thought they were all great on Wednesday night!

I thought the Mandy Moore routine was a sad finale routine and, well, I thnik she should have been called on it. What was she thinking? They had fun and that was great. Kent just seems to enjoy dancing, period.

Nice finale, imo, much better than last year.

Loved Ellen appearing. But I like her--she seems so nice. she seemed to really feel badly for alex and I thought it was a neat *gesture*.

The 7yo tap dancer was awesome, wasn't he?

And Hawk's group was awesome! That dancing always amazes me. I LOVE watching what they can make their bodies do!
