we have one month and a week to go - can barely wait... ultrasound with doc tomorrow... fingers crossed that the doctor doesn't have a reason to make me stay home... everything with pregnancy good so far and only 4 months when we go so hopefully it'll be a full steam ahead...

One month from today, at this very moment, we'll be checking into the POR, and then heading out to DTD. 31 DAYS, PEOPLE!!!

Alison, you are contagious! I just added two days to our trip.


It was really weird how it happened. I tried to change our flights to an earlier date online and they wanted to charge me $125 a person.

So I called to make sure this was really correct. He changed it for me for free! Same flight, same price, same time, just two days earlier. He kept going on and on about "one time only exception".

The family has been talking about AoA for weeks now. We can't afford the suites, though. But Little Mermaid has availability for those two days!

I'd like to keep it a secret from DH, but can't quite figure out how. (We share all our money and accounts) He doesn't do any of the planning, though. I wonder what I could tell him the charge was for? Just a little white lie for a good surprise is okay, right? It won't be hurting us financially.

I also need to add two days to our tickets. Does anyone know if that can wait until we get there?

Then I need to figure out how to pack without raising suspicion. Shouldn't be too hard, though, I'm always an early packer!

Yes, but because of the ticket price increase, you will want to use your tickets first and then add the additional two days. (This is what Cheshire Figment tells us on this board and he is the ticket guru.) So, just pick up your KTTK at check-in and any time after your first park visit, you can add those additional days. If you do it at check-in they will charge the new price of say 8 days, less what you paid for 6 at the old price. Of course, if you bought your package after the park ticket price increase, this whole reply is moot.

omalleycat -- love your screen name (Aristocats is my second favorite Disney movie, after Mary Poppins, of course!) , and I can't wait to visit NZ someday. I keep telling my kids and DH that we're moving there before I get too old for a new adventure.
