We will be at the Polynesian Sept 11-17th celebrating my sister's birthday!

We (DW & I) will also be at the Polynesian Sept 11-17th, but we wont be celebrating my sister's birthday.

Thinking about it, I dont even know when my sisters birthdays are. I'm a bad brother.

So... even though I can't book any ADR's that I want because they're all booked... I'm still so excited for this trip!!! I'm not wishing the summer away at all, but I just keep thinking about our 2 bedroom BCV resort room, the cruise on the new Disney Dream and then WLV. I haven't been to either resort or on the Disney Dream before. I'm just soooooooooo excited. Then there's all the new things at Castaway Cay. So many changes in a year and a half. I just don't know who else understands the way I feel quite like my DisBoard friends!

I have eight siblings, I honestly don't know all their birthdays, but technology helps I am only taking one sister to Disney...I think I have set the bar rather high for the other siblings birthdays, but given this particular sisters recent circumstances I think they understand this is a special situation.

I don't think it makes you a bad brother if you don't remember their birthdays, perhaps if you didn't remember their names

I wish we could stay loooonger! My dd and her 3 bffs and my bff... weekend trip. One day is already to much school to miss for just the 3rd week back.

We are staying at POR 9/21 - 9/27 We love it at POR. Hope you have fun. Are you doing MNSSHP? What night?

I hadn't planned on doing MNSSHP... I really don't know what it is, to be honest, but a friend of mine booked her trip in Oct just FOR that. Is it worth the money?!

Hope you have a great time, too!! Maybe we'll see you down there! I cannot wait!!!!

PS. I love your ideas for surprising your kiddos!! Honestly, I'm starting to get nervous about how my kids (8, 7 and 5) will take the surprise - I can picture them being worried about missing school and missing gym class or something Plus, it's getting harder and harder to keep the secret!!!!! But, if we do surprise them, I love your ideas for doing the puzzle or scavenger hunt - both things we're thinking about doing too!! Best of luck - keep me posted on your plans!!!

Blessed with 3-We stayed at POR our first onsite stay as well. WE LOVED IT! I hope you do too! If you have any specific questions I would be glad to answer them if you like.

We are booked for CSR 9/6-9/19.
This will be our 2nd year staying at CSR..I am keeping my fingers crossed for a room near a bus stop. It's so pretty the walks are not terrible but I love being closer to bus stops. It means I can sleep in for an extra 5 minutes.

Oh good, that's awesome to know!! Thanks for offering to answer questions about POR but I don't even know what to ask. Guess I'm a little overwhelmed at this point. We're a family of 5, so I think that means we're going to be staying somewhere in the Alligator Bayou, but I have no idea how big that area is for the comparison to bus stops, etc. but the looong walks are definitely something I'm concerned about, but we'll make do, I'm sure!

I was so excited to find out it was going to be going on while we are there - we're going the first night it opens(9/13). Tickets for it are bought & paid for!

I can understand the excitement we are in double digits and the numbers are dropping. I sure will miss summer, but will be sooo to be in Disney again.
