Planning on PORS Sept 23 - Oct 1 - first time going in September, so excited! Does anyone know when MNSSHP is this year and would kids 13, 11 and 8 be too old for it?

Your best bet is to plan on the nights that MK closes at 7...although they haven't officially released the dates yet.

We will be in Disney September 24th through October 1st We can't wait. Our trip is paid off and now all we have to wait on is booking dining and September to get here

We will be there the same week!! I am so excited. Hope that halloween party dates will be released soon!!

No one knows for sure (I doubt even disney has decided). It is unlikely based on past trends that anything more would be released until the current promos expire (3/27). Depending on where, who and how long your trip will be, free dining is good, but not necessarily that much difference.

I booked with kids stay/play free, and will switch to free dining if it comes out. For me it is approx $200 difference in price.

I specifically chose those dates because it was "value season" and that means less people... right?

It has been described to me like this.... the prices are low, and mix in free dining and the Resort will be busy. But the off property stuff will be very low. So while the restaurants and hotels will be full, the parks will not be too bad.... since on property is a small portion of the total number of guests that visit.

Count us is!! Can't believe it took this long to find this thread....

My DM and I are going to be at POR from Sept. 11 - Sept. 17... our first stay at any Mod!!!! Although it is off by a couple weeks, we will be celebrating my 40th birthday! (We couldn't make it for the exact date)

Made the reservation for POR back in Sept... FD!!!! A week later we had already decided which restaurants to try to get ADRs for.... now just waiting to see if we can get them!

Staying Sept 18-25 -- Either AsMfam suite, or POFQ, (thinking the suite though, as we have three kids) Will be booking this week and will update with a in stone answer.. SOOOOO EXCITED.. first trip for DD and almost DH and I's anniversary!!!!

DH said yesterday "you'll still go to Disney without me if I can't go, won't you??" What do you say to that? I just covered and said "why wouldn't you be able to go??" I know he is concerned with leaving our oldest dog, she is 14 and has kidney and liver problems :-( I'm sure she'll be fine or at least I hope. On that note: 219 days before DISNEY!!

Well, I want him to board her and our other two dogs with the Veterinarian we go to ($19 a day per dog) , but he wants to leave them with his parents. They already have 4 dogs of there own and his parents are in their 60's. I don't want it being too much for them.

Hi! Happy to see someone from so close is going to the POR too same week. I'm from Elwood and going to POFQ Sep 12-16. Would've loved the extra days but we need them for driving. Looks like quite a few people from Indiana are heading south in September.

Seems we have quite a bit in common... Both from Indiana (even around the same area), both going to Disney on the same week, staying at Sister resorts, both driving, and even both celebrating our birthdays there!!!

This will be our 4th drive in 5 years, if you want to discuss strategies or just talk to a fellow disney-hoosier just send me a pm.
