I think the guy Mia knows that knew Ellie is psycho Derek! You know Peyton always has to have drama around her character.

I, for one, do think it's Brooke that Luke calls..The way he asked the question just seemed like, "hey, why not? We have nothing better to do with our lives."

I don't think Dan will die, like Kat73 said, he HAS to be around! lol. I hate that Karen isn't a main character anymore. Why is that?

I also picked up season 5. I'm halfway through disc 2 (about episode 6 or 7). I don't think it'll be Lindsey ending up with Lucas.

Season 5 was soooo good.

Jackson Brundage is the cutest smartest child actor I've seen in a LONG time. He is such a great addition to the cast!

I'm so glad I found this thread! OTH has been my favorite show since season 1! Ok, for my THEORIES:

Lindsay isn't preggers. The actress joined Law and Order, so I can't see them trying to make her story bigger.

Brooke is going to have a baby, not adopt. I just keep getting this feeling.

Peyton and Luke will get married, though not in Vegas (unless the whole crew goes, that just came to me). I just can't see another runaway wedding like Nate and Haley's first.

Dan isn't dead, though he won't get the transplant due to his injuries. His story this season will be waiting for another matching heart. As someone who works in a transplant office, I can tell you that for some people there are lots of matches. I know several people who have had multiple transplants. I really liked him this season. He was evil and good all in one!

Deb and Skillz...hmmm...maybe they will have a baby!! That would be such drama!!!

As for Nathan and Haley, I'm not really sure. I'd like to see them fianally get back on track. No real predictions here though.

Karen's not really around much because of some issue with her contract and wanting more money. That's just what i heard before alst season started and im not sure if it's true or not, but yeah

I kind of want Luke to call Brooke, too... but I dont think chad/sophia would be cool with that. And i don't think its lindsey since she will be in law and order or something. so that leaves peyton.

i guess we'll see on monday!

I just saw this thread. OTH is filmed here, and the actors are all great members of the community. So funny to hear everyone talk about how hot Nathan is - James Lafferty actually lives in the house behind us. We don't really know him, but we see him on the street and say hi. Paul Johansson used to live on the street as well, but he has moved. They are part of life here - it's so strange to read posts about them from half a country away!

Dawson's Creek was filmed here, too, but we didn't live in Wilmington then. We did watch part of one episode being filmed in Southport one day while we were visiting my in-laws!

Hope all the fans enjoy the new season!
