I don't think it would be that she MEANT to hit him.... just coinsidence. I'm not even sure if it was Deb... but I thought it looked like her car, and it would def. be an interesting twist to the show, and we all know she's back in town, so.... who knows!

These season finales are sure hard on Dan, but he has more lives than a cat...

I thought this episode was so well done with all the themes tying together. Good thing Jamey is so darn adorable because the writer's have given him more insight than most grown men... I bought it but truthfully, not believable.

I thought for sure the Dr. was going to tell Brooke that when it got tough in the middle of the night to call him, maybe Season 6...

Agree 100%. The pool scenes were fab. So good to see them happy together.

Was so glad to see Haley tell Lucas to open himself up. Lots of references to the truth being in the writing.

Wouldn't make sense for Lucas' call to be to Lindsay since she isn't in Tree Hill. Her ticket would need to be from NYC. That would be a big hole in the plot The writer's are certainly pointing us towards Peyton. Brooke's call could be from the Dr. checking up on her after Angie's leaving. No obvious explanation for what Lindsay's call could be.

Guess we'll know in September. I need something else to watch now.

While I think it would be interesting for it to be Deb's car that hit Dan (paybacks a *****), for cliffhanger purposes, my first thought was, it is whoever Lucas called to come meet him at the airport, Peyton, Brooke or Lindsey. Now, no one will show up and leave Lucas feeling rejected, maybe to go to Vegas by himself and not know the real reason or just hurt and angry once again. Just a thought, already counting down the days till next season!!!

I don't think Dan is dead...Kind of ironic that his beeper was going off after he got hit. He may need more than a heart now. I am glad he didn't smother that guy though!

Something makes me want to say it's Brooke that Luke called. Just the way he said "You want to get married?" Just like a 'Hey I'm just throwing the suggestion out there.' kinda thing. Maybe he's wanting kids too? But the way he left things with Peyton, it could very well be her. I don't think he even got Lindsey's voicemail, or he would be back with her in a heartbeat it seems.

When does the next season start?? In September for sure? With this, LP-BW, Top Model, and Idol all having their finale's, the only good thing I will have to watch is So You Think You Can Dance!

I think it's kind of lame that the season finale for like 3 or 4 seasons has been Dan on death's door. It's become so cliche for the show.

Im thinking it is Brooke and the "married" thing was just a joke.. because he knows she needs to keep busy...

as for Dan's heart.. does anyone know the rules for heart transplants? I know you cant get one if you have a fever or sick because of complications, so wouldnt getting hit by a car count as a complication?

GREAT episode...here are my thoughts.

Jamie and Gavin the beginning was a good start to the show. That kid just steals my heart every single week!

Deb and Skillz still makes me giggle.

I was thinking that the guy that knew Ellie will turn out to be Peyton's biological father! That would certainly bring a new plot line to the show right?

Naley -- So glad to see their little family bonding again and I loved the pool scenes.

Lucas -- I have a few theories on who he called. I think that Lindsey is pregnant and that's what the person she was on the phone with was asking if she told him yet. As for who he called, I keep going back and forth..
Maybe it was Brooke, but I'm also thinking her call was just them telling her Angie got home ok. Peyton's call, I would love to be Jake! October Road didn't get renewed for next year did it??? Lindsey - I really think it might be her. I don't want it to be, but I think he got her voicemail and then called her. It would be too easy for it to be Brooke or Peyton and that's what we all want. Why in the world would the writes make it so easy for us??

Dan -- WOW! I was so glad he didn't kill the other man, again he is almost redeeming himself. But when he was walking backwards telling those old people they could "get killed out here" I just KNEW he was gonna get struck then WHAM! And the beeper...classic.

All in all, a great season finale! My favorite part was when Jamie saw Luke's hair. That was a real reaction, it had to be, because no matter how good that kid is, there is no way he could have faked that one.

Thats a great thought! At first, I was like "Why would someone recognize Peyton's name?" because they've never showed Mia and Peyton talking about Ellie before so why would Mia know about her and mention her on the road? Would make much more sense for someone to recognize Peyton's name!!

I thought Lindsey was pregnant too!!! It would be a Dan-like story arc if she's pregant and he runs off to Vegas and marries Peyton. Sorta like what Dan did only he went away to college-- he ended up with the wrong 'love of his life'.
I don't see Sophia Bush letting them get Brooke and Lucas back together. Too much drama there.

thanks! i tried the website, but the episode isn't up yet-just a short preview. i also forgot to tape CSI:Miami and had to watch it on cbs.com this morning, lol, it was weird sitting at my computer watching horatio and the gang do their stuff.

Hey epfootballcutie04...I guess great minds think alike, I was just searching for this thread to bump it up! Can't wait. I don't think its Brooke so its a toss up between Peyton and Lindsey. Or maybe theres a 4th choice that we don't know about?! Will Dan die from the car crash? I doubt it. Will Nathan and Haley finally have the stars and the moons aline? I hope so but the preview says something about Nathan's comeback not going as planned. Maybe he'll be named the new coach for Tree Hill. Will Jamie be as cute as ever? No doubt!!!!

here's what i think is going to happen regarding season 6...

***note: none of these are facts, just what i personally think....

lucas calls peyton. but they don't get married in vegas... they wait to have a proper wedding.

brooke ends up getting a baby (but it wont be until the end of the season)

haley... hmmm not really sure what's going to happen there.

Nathan, i agree that he'll become the coach of the ravens w/ luke and skillz

mouth and millie- i forsee a wedding. or at least an engagement.

jaime- starts kindergarten? maybe that will be haleys struggle this season, lol

dan wont die. he's invinsible. well... he might die. the last episode of the season. it's going to be one of the last things we see... that beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp.....

someone's going to get pregnant. (not counting brooke's adoption)

i would love to see more lilly, but since karen's character isn't supposed to be on as a regular, i doubt we will.

hmmm who else am i missing...???

I just picked up season 5 today. I'm doin a couple episodes a day till monday. (in which i have to WORK... grrrrr stupid Republican national convention)

I think he's going to wind up calling Peyton... personally I'd love it to be Brooke but think that ship has sailed :/

And I can't imagine a OTH without EvilDan... so, he just has to be there somewhere.
