FINALLY................

DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE

See ya there. We did same thing. So excited about staying near DTD.
Oct.9-15 @ SSR Me & Neice and Her Posse![]()
Hi all-
As I mentioned before, we're planning our first trip EVER to WDW. So very excited. We're staying offsite at Bonnet Creek (needed extra rooms, bringing a nanny for our 1 year old so we can truly enjoy the time with the 8 and 5 year olds).
Anway, here's our plan for the moment - would love all of your feedback on how it looks! We're definitely going to be a midday nap family given our kids ages and Mom's need for a break!
10/14 Fri - Arrive MCO 1pm, hotel and maybe DTD, early to bed
10/15 Sat - Animal Kingdom, nap/hotel, Wishes Dessert party?? Hope they release it soon!
10/16 Sun - Epcot
10/17 Mon - MK, character lunch Chef Mickey 11:20, nap, evening flexible
10/18 Tue - Hollywood Studios, nap, evening MNSSHP? return to HS?
10/19 Wed - 8:10am CRT breakfast, 9:30 Pirate's League, rest of day MK/flexible
10/20 Thu - Flexible (return to Epcot?), evening Fantasmic
10/21 Fri - Depart
I'm wondering if I should get a Park Hopper pass or not. We might be able to focus things so that I don't need it (move our HS day to Thursday for example).
What do you all think? And thanks so much for all the help/advice on the boards. You've all helped so much.
As long as Muddy Waters makes a mean Banana Cabana, I'm right there with you!!! Our trip is so short this time that we don't get a day off, and we will probably go to Epcot so my husband can sample the beer around the world for F&W. But we always take a mid-day break for at least two hours to swim, so I'll see you there!!!

we just love the park hopper option and always get it, so i am definitely a fan of it. You would have flexibility to move around more and do what you missed later in the trip. we usually do one park in the am and a different one in the pm. it is rare that we stay in one park all day. the hopper allows us to take advantage of morning EMH, then leave by lunch when it gets crowded and do a different park in the evening. If we decided we want to eat somewhere in epcot, we can go that night for an hour or two- we just love that flexibility.Hi all-

Then I'll say Hi to you in EPCOT (which is where my family spends most of our time) and you and I can enjoy a margarita while walking around the world! LOL I understand about the shorts trips, but that's why we've never taken one....I need to relax at least a little. Not that walking around the parks isn't fun, but I have a bad back, so lounging in my resort room is actually really nice for me.
Yuck it's hotter and more humid in Minneapolis, MN then it is at WDW. Thank goodness for airconditioning.
Sounds good to me!After Mexico we can stroll over to China for a Gingerita. Then maybe over to Italy for an Italian Margarita...then maybe to Morrocco for that yummy Tangerine drink, then possibly over to France for a Grey Goose slush.
Perhaps we better eat along the way, LOL, it could be a long day.
Same here! We're supposed to be 100 degrees by Friday. Phew!![]()
I'm here with you. My son is at the Phillies Baseball Academy this week...I freaked when I saw the weather on CBS3 this morning!I could not beleive it's supposed to be 100 on Friday. And this humidity is going to be the death of me!
At least we're going to Disney in less humid weather.
It's a sweltering 66 here.I'm in Ontario so for it to reach 90's is HOT HOT HOT here, but then again pretty soon we'll be complaining about the cold, so I'm just dealing with it I have it pretty easy a/c at the office all day, pool when I get home if I get too hot and my house is kept pretty cool. 89 days !
