***OFFICIAL*** October 2011 - Updated 10/08/11

At six o'clock instead of logging on to make my ressie, I was glued to the Royal Wedding!! I kept looking at the clock thinking, I should be online right now, I'm not gonna get the time I want!!

LOL! Me too! Only I was saying "I really need to leave for work!!!" I set my alarm for 5AM (ET) to get up and watch and when the alarm went off I rolled over, hit snooze and figured I'd YouTube it later! :rotfl2: I'm glad I did because when I got up and out of the shower at 6 the wedding was still going on, so all I missed was the processional, which I saw on the highlights anyway. I got up for Charles and Diana's wedding when I was 10. I wanted to at least see some of this one live! Plus now it's official. I will never be Prince William's princess. princess: :sad1:

I could always be Harry's cougar, though! :lmao:

I will say it's funny because my DD was up watching a bit with me and I pointed out that the girl in the white dress was also named Catherine (although DD is with a K) and that she's now a princess. DD kept saying "I wear white dress. I a princess!" Maybe if William and Kate have a child in the next year or two we'll move to England and I'll bring her up as a proper English lady and sell my soul to get her into the finest schools so she can have a shot. Hmmmmmm. I've always wanted to live in England. I love it there.
:rotfl:

Have a great day all!

Woohoo! Got up before 5am and made my ressies (also got to watch the wedding). Ohana, Artist Point, Biergarten, Kouzzina, Boma, Crystal Palace, and Liberty Tree Tavern. I managed to snag all of the ones I wanted, and at times within 5 minutes of what I planned for (mostly all 7pm, except for the 8:05 breakfast at CP).

Now I just need them to start selling tickets to MNSSHP, and I can calm down for a while!

good morning and happy wedding day to all. I have debating about the Spirit of Aloha show. Wondering if it is worth the $ I really would want to be in section 1 so it would have to be out of pocket. With two little/middle kids I want them to be able to see the show.

So I am wondering is it worth 200 for the show and food.

just wondering with the free dining plan being advertised how many of you all are thinking of switching to Sept. Brought up the idea but we just love Oct to much, the weather should be a little cooler then in September (right)? That is really the only reason we aren't going in Sept.

I know this thread is mostly about people making their ADRs, but I'm still doing the happy dance because this morning I booked our flights! We found that it would only cost us about 200 total (room, qsdp, extra day on park ticket) to fly out the day before our original date because the flights were cheaper. We thought it was well worth spending the extra money on the fun stuff instead of extra money on the flight so we will now be at POP Oct.14-23!!! 9 nights and 9 days in the parks!:rotfl2: I'm soooo happy!!!!

way to go - Another day in the parks I would be doing the happy dance all over the house.

All smiles at our house, DH got vacation confirmed my supervisor so he said start looking for airfare. It looks like we will be there Oct 18 (late) or Oct 19 (my hope I hate taking redeyes) until either the 25/26. Oh how fickle is that. But it doesn't matter we will be there. My plan is for the Party of the 20 of Oct. Can't wait. Better start some major planning. :surfweb: this will be me this weekend into next week.

Hi Everyone! :yay:

I am madly planning my family's FIRST EVER DISNEY TRIP!!!! We are coming from South Africa as a celebration for my hubby and my's 10th anniversary, with the 3 kiddies in tow of course!! We are staying at WL for 14 nights in sept/oct, and have made all the ADR's - although still hoping to change a few around closer to the time. Now just waiting until the MNSSHP tickets go on sale on the 8th - hoping to go on Sep 27. And trying to get some tickets for the dessert party too - if they ever go on sale!!
Did I mention that I'm excited??????????????

If you are like me, you will continue to change plans and reinvent new lists and drive the rest of your family members crazy with Disney talk.

I wish I could add another day, but I can't afford to miss any more class (going to miss one meeting of my Thursday class but going over fall break so don't have to miss my Monday class at all). So, I am already at my max :sad1:.
