Joining this thread! We are staying Oct 14- Oct 20 @ Kidani AKV & then on to BWV Oct 20-Oct 22. So excited! This will be our 1st time staying in a DVC studio. Plus we got the savannah view for AKV! My kids are going to freak!
Made my ADRs yesterday. Here they are:

Tony's, Captain's Grill & Tutto Italia are new for us. My husband insisted on a couple new spots. Hope we like them.

We're going to Disney World from October 2nd - 8th. We're staying at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness. It will be me, DH and our two boys (8 & 5). This is the first visit to WDW for the kids, I haven't been in almost 25 years, and it's been about 15 years for DH.

We have these reservations made:

Trails' End Restaurant - 6:35pm

Oct 3
Whispering Canyon Cafe - 6:35pm

Oct 4
Chef Mickey's - 9:10am
The Crystal Palace - 6:10pm

Oct 5
50's Primetime Cafe - 6:45pm

Mickey's Backyard BBQ - 6:30pm

Oct 7
Trails End Rest. - 6:50pm (figured we'd be busy packing etc. on our last night so we better stay close to the cabin)

We also booked the Pirate League for our boys on October 3rd.

We are all so excited to go!

Thinking about booking 1900 Park Fare. I thought I read on allears that they no longer had Pooh and Tigger there but DH's co-worker went last weekend and she has pics of them both there for breakfast. I would like for Ben to see a Pooh & Tigger of that size at 6 months.


BTW Thought I'd share. We had our baby boy Ben on the 9th!

Here's my opinion on these but honestly I think you ADRs looks great!
Arrival day Chef Mickeys 625pm
The atmosphere and character interaction here was great!! The food is not my favorite but I would go there again. I think this is a great way to start off your trip and really get the magic started.
Sunday Hollywood and Vine 1235pm
This is the only place on your list that I would say I really would not go here again.
Monday Crystal Palace 450pm
This is our must do every trip. LOVE the food and characters and think the building is lovely and bright!
Tuesday Akershus 510pm
Never been trying it for the first time this Oct....very excited about it!
Wednesday Ohana 510pm
I've really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here!
Thursday BBB at 1pm 1900 Park Fare 430pm then the MNSSHP afterwards
Again loved the atmosphere and characters here. The food was fine to me, not really anything special but not bad.

I think you will enjoy your meals and characters at all these. And you have to remember that everyone has different opinions/experiences at all these restaurants. Go and enjoy!!

I'm not sure I'm much help, but I can say I'm doing 4 of the same places you are doing. What do they say sucks about the character dinners? Lame or not it was a dream of mine to do character meals when I was little, and we never could when we went to Disneyland (doubt my parents we're about ADR's at the time lol) so I'm sure as an adult some stuff will be cheesy, but to me it's all in how you look at it. If you go in expecting utter perfection you'll be let down. If you go in hoping for corny fun, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

ok thank you.... made me feel tons better ! I got told everything from I'm going at prime times to the food is just awful at every choice there, also rude character handlers, these people i talk to daily so was very surprised they are usually pretty helpful just needed some reassurance. i know the character things are probably cheesy to adults, but this is her dream vacation and I planned things for HER 100% although I don't think anything will be cheesy at all, some others may look at it that way. TONS of thanks
