***OFFICIAL*** October 2011 - Updated 10/08/11

Haven't checked in since I subbed way back when but now I have a rough plan. Going with the wife and 2 daughters (4 yo and almost 3 yo).

Oct. 9th - Check out of Hilton and check in to BLT studio. Magic Kingdom for the day and level of travel fatigue will decide how much we do. 1900 Park Fare for early dinner.
Oct. 10th - Animal Kingdom. Chef Mickey's for Dinner.
Oct. 11th - Magic Kingdom. MNSSHP. Crystal Palace for Breakfast.
Oct. 12th - Hollywood Studios. Grand Floridian Cafe for Dinner.
Oct. 13th - EPCOT. Akershus for Breakfast. Fantasmic @ 8 pm.
Oct. 14th - Free day. Ohana for Breakfast.
Oct. 15th - Check out and make the long drive home.

Yay under 200 days to go, 199 days left now. I know it sounds like a long way out but as we booked more that 200 days ago, it feels really close now.

Can't wait to introduce my boy to the world we love.

Since our 180 day adr mark is coming up soon, trying to decide where to eat this trip. It seems much harder this year to pick and choose. Anyone else, having trouble planning. This is so not like me.:confused3

seems way more difficult to plan a short trip vs a longer one...and it's only DH & I

but I am busy tweaking everything right now and need to run some thoughts by DH too...he's not as much into planning as me...but has his list of wants that I will work in (around mine :rolleyes1)

so after my first plan based on '10 hours similar to my days I went back to the drawing board twice...first after the hours went up on the TA site and then after I got some good tips and what are you thinking ? from my Diser peeps on my PTR...

so here is how it looks...I think the parks our good it's the food/ADR that is still up in the air and our for debate

It would be really fun to run into you! Wouldn't that be cool? Please, if you see someone walking around with a Lime Green Mickey Head, come and say hi. There will only be the two of us and I would love to meet another disser.

BTW... booked my flights today! Another thing taking me closer!

We just changed our dates today. Due to my DH transferring his job, we are no longer going in May/June. Our new dates are 10/15 - 10/21 at AKV. We are so excited and might even keep this one a secret from the boys.
yeah, we are there the same time- 10/14-10/22! at BLT. :thumbsup2

Forgot this thread might be here! How could I have missed that?

Anyways, I am treating my mom to Disney October 14-24. We will be staying at POFQ and are super excited about the room refurbs.

My ADR day opens up on 4-17 and we already have picked out where we want to eat, now I just have to make it all fit. I have a tentative plan set up, but I am waiting on TGM to release his best parks before I "finalize" it. If anyone wants to see it, just let me know!

Can't wait to go and maybe run into one of you all. I will have my lime green mickey head on my bag so please feel free to come up and say hi!
love POFQ! we are there same time too. but leaving on the 22nd. i really need to finalize my ADRs too. i hope to have some time at work tomorrow- we will see, it's been crazy busy.

get ready for MNSSHP for evening before 7 pm till midnight

Has WDW actually released the MNSSHP dates/times? Or any Oct. hours that folks have seen? I mean I know Touring Plan's website has their best guess up, but when I check the park calendar I don't see anything past laste Sept. Am I looking in the wrong place? :confused3

Just made my ADR this am- our 1st day is Sept 27-- got EVERYTHING!!!
Cape May, LTT, Chef De France, Mama Mel, Ohana, Chef Mickey, Akershus, Rose & Crown, Crystal Palace, !! Yea now I can go to bed......:cloud9:

Zima- There is a thread somewhwere here about the Oct hours (might be this one.. ) the travel agent calendar has been released and I believe that if M closes at 7 there is a MNSSHP.

pooh4eva.....that's great that you got your ADRs!!:yay:

Tomorrow is my ADR day. I'm nervous! lol Never made ADRs before, and this far out. I am able to start making them right at the same time I have to get the kid ready and off to school so I'll be doing some juggling as they don't know about the trip! lol I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can get everything that we want without too much shuffling around!

We are in St louis so our online window opened at 5- it was very easy and I was finished by 525 - just had to wait until 6 to call for our BBB and Wonderland Tea Party times oh and F! pkg-- and our kids dont know either! try online

Yeah for getting the ADR's you wanted. I don't make mine until April 22......... 21 more days to wait

the dates are not 'officially' announced by WDW yet, but based on the TA calendar, you pretty much know from that. There could be some changes, but usually it is only adding more hours or shows (F!) etc.

it is so easy! are you calling or doing them online?

exwdwcm....I'm going to be doing them online. I can start at 7am online here, right when I will be getting the kids ready for school, so I'll be back and forth from the computer to the kitchen! lol I am hoping to get the ADRs we want especially CRT for dd's birthday and the F! dining pkg!!!

Jealous about all of you doing your ADRs already. I have to wait until April 17! Luckily that is a Sunday and not a day where I have class the night before since I will have to be up at 5:45AM. Also I am so glad I am not going for any of the "big" reservations as that lowers the stress levels of the day!

Still need to decide on a few times though.

Michelle, thanks :goodvibes yes I really hope we can find a time to meet up either in the parks or at BLT...be a shame not too. I plan to put on sign on my door too

HI! I booked our trip, 10/31 to 11/13. I booked the first 7 days at AKL and the last 6 days at FW cabins, we've never split up our time like that. Is it difficult to move from one resort to another?
We will arrive early on 10/31 and the kids are so excited to trick or treat at Disney. We've never been to Disney in fall, does anyone know when we can purchase our MNSSHP tickets? Also, we were hoping to be able to do the Christmas party but i'm not sure if it runs that early in November?
Thanks for all the great advise! i love reading the boards everyday, it makes my trip seem not that far away. :)

well after many revisions, i think i finally have my schedule! We do take a break each day for 1-2 hours in the room usually about 2pm or so. We are not on dining plan, using TIW.

QUESTION- what is the latest that Mama Melrose will seat if the park closes at 7pm? We don't have much time there that night (just a few hours), so i want to schedule our dinner as close to park closing as possible so it doesn't eat into park time! What's the earliest that we can make ressies for CP and Donald's breakfast?
