So I'm still making some last minute changes. I decided I really needed to cancel my 6pm CP reservation before MNSSHP on the 18th. Originally I was going to HS that morning, but then I thought maybe we should do DTD and snagged a lunch ressie at Raglan Road. But I've got park tickets for 6 days and if we do DTD I'd be wasting a days worth of tickets. So some other thoughts are to do my second morning over at AK or go back to my original plan of HS. Any advice?

We are also going to MNNSHP on the 18th. Our plans are to go to HS in the morning, then head back to the hotel after lunch for a nap/swimming. We will head to MK for our LTT ADR that is at 5:20. I think doing a morning park is fine.

I would advise you NOT to worry if you don't use up all 6 days. The additional day on top of the 5th day is only a few bucks more per person. So don't strain yourself to get to a park - just enjoy! I've also got 6 day park passes but we may end up only using 4. It all depends on what we feel like and if it rains. If it rains, we'll head to the parks more but if it doesn't, we'll chill at the pool.

I would also cancel a 6pm CP ADR before MNSSHP. I think you are making the right decision with that. As for what to do that morning, I say just wake up and see what the family feels like! Since you have a park ticket, you can go to AK or HS but if everyone wants to sleep in and just have a relaxing afternoon at DTD, do that! I say keep it open and see what happens and don't stress if you don't make it to a park.

I am sooo excited... today was very productive!! I got up and got our clothes switched for the season. In the process, I set aside the clothes we would need for the trip. I've been gathering all of the odds and ends from around the house into the guest room. I got all the t-shirts washed and line dried (so as not to shrink). We picked up the ink so I can do the transfers. Then I took 4 bags of clothes to goodwill. Then spent 3 hrs (ack) at the salon. Came home to learn there is a big chunk missing that I did not catch--- - - Guess I'll be calling them tomorrow. Then picked up DD's things for her b'day party next weekend. Then came home and made hairbows, worked on a project, made her blanket and pillow case for the trip. I also had DH count all of our spare change... another $21 to play with!! Oh yeah, we picked up DH's mustache and socks for his Hook costume. Now I just need my shoes and his wig.
Whew! I think it's time for bed. In 14 days, we will be over half way there!!

I meant to get my clothes together yesterday for our trip, I reallly did.... but then I didn't. It was 80 degrees here and outside was just calling my name (and so were a lot of old movies on tv, especially Titanic )

So. Today. 15 days to go. I WILL start doing my laundry today. I WILL start packing today. Or tomorrow. Next weekend, at the very latest

Glad a part of the country is enjoying warm weather. Yesterday, I switched out the summer clothes for winter as the snow swirled outside my window. Today, I will place my Garden Grocer order and hope there will be no snow impeding our drive down the mountain to the airport on travel day!

I don't know if I would want the kind of snow you get in CO, but an occasional real snow would be nice. All we get is ICE!

12 days for us!!! This time in 2 weeks we will be in the MK. We dodged a bullet last night--our daughter almost figured out the surprise trip, but quick thinking by my husband saved the day. Our suitcases have now taken up residence at our friends house for a day or two, so all packing is on hold. So, today we are going to embrace the 80 degree fall weather and go to a pumpkin patch. I am getting nervous that we are not getting much done for our trip, but i guess we have one more weekend to tackle it all.

I have been washing and packing all weekend. We now have 90% of our clothes packed. Now all I have left to do is our toiletries and snacks which I will work on this week and of course can't really finalize until right before we leave. We are going to leave Friday right after school and drive about half way. I'm so excited!

13 days for us! I'll be spending the day today packing our suitcases!

Yesterday, we went to 3 Halloween stores, and finally got all the pieces for my son's Halloween Costume! He finally decided on being Captain America! So if anyone is going to be at MNSSHP on the 25th, keep an eye out for us! I'll have a green Mickey on our stroller and my bag!

I also need to make a run to the craft store, because I printed our iron-on transfers, but I forgot to buy the white t-shirts to put them on! Duh! Haha!

We have 6 more days until we arrive, but we leave on Friday night so it's really only 5, right?! The things I keep telling myself!

I still have quite a bit of packing to do and my son has developed this HORRIBLE hacky cough. He just had an antibiotic 2 weeks ago for an Upper Respiratory Infection and has been on breathing treatments. He was doing fine and now all of a sudden he has this cough. I don't thing he's coming down with anything, but he has really bad allergies like me and with all the weather changes and the 2 Air Quality Alert Days we have had I think the pollutants and allergens are just getting the best of him. He is off school on Tuesday so I think I might just take him to the doctor just to be safe. What do you all think? Am I just being paranoid? The last thing I want is to be 900 miles away and him get sick.

Where exactly is the wal-mart? We are staying at All-Star Music and we also are driving but don't want to bring the house and would love to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart once settled.
