It looks like I am in the minority here! I have seen F! once but I can't wait to go back and see it again. The week we are going right now the calendar has F! scheduled for 2 nights (Only one of those has EMH) so we are going to HS on the F! day WITHOUT EMH. I can't wait for the rest of my family and my son to see it. I think it's absolutely one of THE BEST nighttime shows Disney puts on!

Question for the vets - is it easy to get around between parks? like is there a bus or other transportation that will go from Epcot to MK or AK so we can start our day in one park and head to another w/o having to go back to the hotel?

TIA

Buses do not run directly from park to park. You would have to take a bus to a resort (it doesn't have to be YOUR resort) and then catch a different bus to the park you wish to travel to. Unfortunately, this means that a good chunk of park time could be spent transferring. :(

Unfortunately DH and I have never seen the current F! :sad2: The last show which was like F! somewhat we saw was back in the '90's while DHS was still MGM and there was no staduim seating, everyone stood and watched the lazer/fireworks and at the end a huge Sorcerer Mickey stood up atop I think Gromans? not sure its been so long

I had thought this year since we will be at the BC would be a good year to do F! but it was just turning into too much trouble trying to fit it in and DH hates crowds worse than me so skipping it seems a better way to go.

Fantasy in the Sky? I LOVED those fireworks, I just watched that show on You Tube a few days ago, and it was so good! They were my favorite fireworks at the time, and MGM was my favorite park...I still love it, just not as much as Epcot! :rotfl:

I always think about doing F!, but it's just so hard to fit in, I never even bother. :confused3 Since we will be there on the EMH night when F! is showing, maybe we will go in right before it starts and just stand in the back, since I haven't seen it since 2008, but...I doubt it! I'd rather be riding ToT!

You can take the monorail from MK to TTTC and transfer to the Epcot Monorail when going to Epcot

From Epcot you can take the Friendship boat to DHS and vise versa

You also do not need to go back to your resort unless you want to, you can if say at MK walk over to CR and catch a bus there to AK DHS or DTD same thing if you are at Epcot you can always walk to BC or BW via the Int'l Gateway and hope a bus there to your next destination

SJS, thanks!! That is great info. exactly what I was looking for. I'll make sure I write that info down and look into some others as well. I'd hate to buy the park hopper and not be able to easily hop.

The info you get on these boards is AMAZING and has been soooo helpful. I am having a blast planning our trip and learning all these in's and out's. I can't wait to put it all together when we're there.

Sorcery in the Sky?? I think that's what it was called. I never saw that show for some reason and I've only seen F! once, in 2006. Don't spend too much time in MGM, I guess! Especially at night.

Your quite welcome, getting around WDW can be overwheming if not familar with the transportation system.

There actually are busses running between Epcot, AK, and DHS ... I've used them many times. Transportation to the MK will probably require some sort of connection, but the other 3 have busses running. The following is cut from the Transportation board (the bus stop #s may have changed):

From Epcot to:
AK, bus stop #5
DHS, bus stop #9
TTC/MK, Monorail

From DHS to:
AK, bus stop #7
Epcot, bus stop #7 in the Charter lot
TTC/MK, bus stop #11

From AK to:
DHS, bus stop #15
Epcot bus stop #13
TTC/MK, bus stop #14

I didn't even know about it until after several WDW trips. While waiting to head from AK to AKL for dinner, I noticed other parks posted at the bus stop. I then checked out Epcot and DHS and saw the same thing. It was one of those head slapping / Eureka moments!

I'll admit, I'm a little disappointed with the October park hours so far - especially in comparison to last year's hours and schedule.:sad2:

So I did some digging and I found this thread from September 2010:

It looks like near the end of Sept they extended Park Hours at MK and DHS and added additional showings of F! and MSEP. Who knows, maybe there is still hope for us yet?:worship:

It seems Disney almost always adds a second F! show and if they keep the pm EMH for DHS on Fantasmic night , I would say it is a given this year that there will be a 2nd F! show added.

What I really found strange was no EMH for MK on Sat night for my dates, that has almost always been something you could count on.

I have a feeling there might be a few changes in regards to hours this year

This is why I rent a car! :) I can't stand the thought of wasting time (just my opinion) going from one stop to another and then another to reach my final destination. We park hop so, to me, Disney transportation is just not an option. Plus, I have severe back issues since my car accident and I don't want to take the change I will have to stand (while holding my toddler).

On another note....our family has never seen F!. It's not that we don't want to, it's just that I would much rather be doing something, even swimming in the pool or playing a board game with my family, than waiting in line to get into a show. We want to see it, but if they don't add a second show one of the nights we will be there, I don't see it happening (especially with a squirming two year old).

Last November I was able to grab a bus from DHS to MK. I would check at each park. You may not have to go to a resort to transfer.

Yes! I am so bummed about the lack of Sat evening EMH at MK. I was so looking forward to MK at 3am!

Thanks! I guess that means I have to go and print it out now!!! Goodness, my binder is certainly getting full. And I'm supposed to concentrate on work while planning for Disney?!? lol Who made that rule?

Does Touring Plans actually have a way to enter your dates and then get a print out based on that or do you just print out the page for each day you are going? I'm so confused! :confused3
