Think I will hold off on printing my final plan itinerary until closer to our departure date. Otherwise, I'm afraid there might be more changes before we leave 10/22.

AND they are small, so I can clip them to the strap of my bag for easy accessThey are about 3"x4.5" double sided.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this.
I think I now have another project to take care of in the next 35 days. Oh, did I mention 35 days?!?!?!
And I think I may have to switch some of my days around now because of the park hours. On Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th I was kind of flip flopping between AK and MK and which days to do each. I think now that they have extended the MK hours to 11 on Saturday and added a 2nd parade my mind is made up
I think TP gives it a 6 for the day though! Which means we'll probably not be there from like 12 to 5 or 6. IDK so many decisions!disneygal58

Hi all, everyone sounds so busy. So excited!!!
So tell me what do you all put on your little trip planner cards? I was thinking of just adding a planner per day to my calendar in my BB with my reservation numbers and the park hours, show times etc.
Also, very newbie questions, so for EMH, I THINK
there are early morning hours and extended evening hours? Now aren't these supposed to be for disney resort guests only? How do they enforce it? Just wondering if the crowds are really lighter in the am and evenings on these days and if it is worth it to try to take advantage of it.
Thanks for the link to the new park hours. I noticed my DHS night is extended and they added another F! that night which is great because I was worried about a gazillion people coming out of the show and all trying to leave the park at the same time

Disney can change the park hours at any time and they do so often so it is always good to check right before you go. If they extend regular park hours on an EMH day, those extra hours will be pushed later (not usually earlier but that can happen). They control EMH by looking at your key to the world card and verifying you are staying onsite for that date.
Ah, the eternal question of whether EMH is worth it! The rule of thumb for morning EMH is that it is worth it IF you will be there at least 15 minutes prior to the EMH opening time. In general, a park tends to be busier on the day of EMH as well so that's something to keep in mind. As for evening EMH, it is worth it if you plan on the whole 3 hours. The first hour and a half, it is really, really busy but then it usually empties out as families realize their kids need to go to bed.
And no matter what, Fantasmic letting out will be nuts! But extra showings do help alleviate the crowds.

I have the parks we are going to, the hours of the parks, the crowd calendar level, the best and worst park(s) of the day, dining reservations times and numbers, parade times, show times and stuff I don't want to forget to do.

Hi, Nikki! WOW only 9 days?!?! That's exciting! We've got 25 more days and we are so excited!
With the park hours now being extended, we have decided to change our breakfast time on 10/22. We switched it from 8:05am to 10:20am--still at Crystal Palace. We wanted to get pics with very few people in the park, but now that MK opens at 8am, we would rather sleep in a little.
If you have time to update the list, that would be great! Thanks, and have a GREAT trip!

So, I just realized today... DD could stay with DMIL and DBIL one night for DH and I to go out. I just looked and there are several options still available! What recommendations do you all have? I had thought about maybe doing Grand Floridian cafe, maybe with a walk on the beach after.... is that okay? There were some other like Criticos, Flying Fish, Katkora....

I do the same thing! My mom actually came up with the idea for us years ago- she got index cards, cut out our typed itinerary and taped on each day and then laminated, poked a hole and put a key ring through it. EAch of us got a copy (it was a large family trip). It was so easy to grab and refer to. This past year, I bought a small spiral bound notebook- like same size as notecards, and did the same thing for my itinerary, but just used the thicker tape (like packing tape) to do my own version of laminating. I also kept my trip notes in that same notebook.
Using your BB is smart. Have you downloaded the Disboards app? I assume it works for BB, but not sure. I can access the boards on my iphone and there is also a little itinerary area built in you can use.Hi all, everyone sounds so busy. So excited!!!

but i prefer the old fashioned way on paper, laminated! for my cards, I put my daily itinerary and it looks something like this. While I don't stick to the exact times, it helps give me a guide, so i know what time we need to leave the room to arrive at the park for rope drop, or leave the park in order to have a long enough break etc. I don't always plan out our ride order except for the first few rides of the day to beat the crowds. so here is what I put for my daily plan- this is an example:

[FONT="]7:30am drive to DHS[/FONT]
[FONT="]8am RD at DHS for EMH[/FONT]

[FONT="]12pm Pizza planet lunch[/FONT]
[FONT="]1:30 or 2pm back to room/break[/FONT]
[FONT="]4:30pm walk to MK[/FONT]
[FONT="]5:45pm dinner at CRT[/FONT]
[FONT="]10pm MK closes[/FONT]
I usually include the parks we plan to visit, any meals we have (I add the ADR #), and any other special events. If it is a park where I want to detail out the ride order for the morning, I do that on the back side.
I also add pages to my notebook with our hotel reservation details, our car rental info, our flight info, my ADRs and confirmations for any special events (like Pirate League, Pirates and Pals Cruise etc.). I also put the "must do's" for us for this trip- like animation academy, the Jammitors, PUSH, Phineas and Ferb etc. Just so I don't forget. I also put in some times for my favorite shows and meet and greets- like what time the flag ceremony is, Jammitors show time etc. This year, I'll have info on our plan for the MNSSHP too!
For EMH hours- there are AM and PM. It varies on the day. Morning EMH is one hour before park opening. Evening EMH is 3 hours past regular park closing. They check by your room key for the morning EMH. You have to show your key to the world card (room key) when you use your pass to get in. If you don't have a room key, you don't get in early and they'll turn you away. I know, one person in our party forgot their key and had to go back to the room to get it! For evening EMH, they used to give out wristbands, so those staying, had to go to a station and show their room key. I think (probably due to cost cutting measures), they now ask you to show your room key when you are getting in line for a ride. If you don't have a key, they won't let you in line to ride a ride or see an attraction.
We LOVE morning EMH. a lot of people don't want to get up early, i mean it is vacation and all! We love it, we can usually ride so much in that first hour. I can usually do almost all of Fantasyland! We don't care for evening EMH as much, it is always crowded. In fact, we will often avoid the evening EMH park. When we do morning EMH, we usually leave that park by noon or 1pm for a break and hop to a different park that night. The EMH park can be more crowded. Those without hoppers that want to use EMH are stuck at that park all day, so it tends to get more crowded. We just hop once it gets crowded!
