We attended MNSSHP on our honeymoon last year and loved it! It really is fun - the atmosphere in the MK is completely different and the fireworks are hands down the best I've seen at Disney.

We are going to MNSSHP on October 12th. My kids are already getting their costumes ready. I guess I had too. I AM SO EXCITED!!!

I will put my ID on mine. I am going to decorate the window and door for halloween. We are staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort Oct 12-17. Are the Doors magnetic? I can't remember. 22 days and counting

I wish I knew. We are staying at the Poly.. I'm not even sure WHAT I can decorate..

We are also going to be there on October 12th! It will be my niece's 7th birthday as well My DS is going to be Jack Skellington (I still have to make the costume..I have the fabric from Ebay but that's it and we leave on the 6th!!!!!!!! )

My DS pulled the Mickey sticker off our Disney Chart today and it said we had 33 days left. I need to seriously start thinking about clothes and shoes!

this will be our 4th stay at POP, we really like this resort alot! Now we have always gone in the off season, not sure how it would be in the high season- probably too crowded for us...not gonna find out

11 days to go I got most of our stuff packed this weekend and I'm going to finish tonight when I get home.

One month from today we arrive!! Cannot wait!! Everyone has their costume except me, I'm going to have to make mine.
Also, just found out that my aunt and uncle who recently moved to FL will be driving to Orlando while we're there -- this is the first time EVER in WDW for both of them!! So excited that we'll have first timers of all ages with us this trip!!

Just bought some flip flops for BF. He has no comfy shoes for the trip and thought they would be useful.

Disney just updated their October 2010 Park Hours. Here are the changes I noticed:

Saturday October 2: Magic Kingdom hours extended to 12am from 11pm; Main Street Electrical Parade added at 10pm

Sunday October 3: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 8pm; Fantasmic added at 9:30pm

Thursday October 7: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 10pm from 8pm; Fantasmic added at 9:30pm

Saturday October 9: Magic Kingdom hours extended to 12am from 11pm; Main Street Electrical Parade added at 11pm; Hollywood Studios hours extended to 8pm from 7pm

Sunday October 10: Main Street Electrical Parade added at 11pm; Hollywood Studios Hours extended to 9pm from 7pm; Fantasmic added at 7:30pm and 9pm (there were no shows previously scheduled on this date)

Tuesday October 12: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Thursday October 14: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Saturday October 16: Magic Kingdom hours extended to 12am from 11pm; Main Street Electrical Parade added at 11pm

Monday October 18: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Thursday October 21: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Saturday October 23: Magic Kingdom hours extended to 12am from 11pm; Main Street Electrical Parade added at 11pm

Sunday October 24: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Thursday October 28: Hollywood Studios hours extended to 9pm from 7:30pm; Fantasmic added at 9pm

Saturday October 30: Magic Kingdom hours extended to 12am from 9pm; Main Street Electrical Parade added at 10pm

A second Fantasmic(!) was added on nights when a first Fantasmic was scheduled except on October 31 when only one show is scheduled at 7:30pm. Two Fantasmics were added on Sunday October 10th. Hollywood Studios’ hours are also longer on days when Fantasmic is scheduled to accomodate the second show. Magic Kingdom’s hours are one hour longer on Saturdays except on October 30th when they are three hours longer. A second Main Street Electrical Parade was added on Saturdays.

9 Days!! And thanks for the updated park hours BTW! I was really hoping they'd add a 2nd F! showing on 10/7 and I got my wish!!
