We spent our honeymoon at Disney last year and wanted to go back for our first anniversary this year. We're local passholders so we're just going for the weekend, but we are staying on site and we made some ADRs to make the trip a little more special than our usual day at Disney. We've never been to CSR and we're excited about trying a new resort!

Going for our 2nd Anniversary.
We already have booking, ADR's, etc.

We plan to do MK x 2 days, HS 1 day, Epcot 1 day

Then we get offsite to visit Universal and WWHP a couple days.

About Illuminations, i think the show is offline in October, anyone can confirm this? at least the dates i will visit is not listed in Epcot calendar.

I'm going the same week as you and the Illuminations schedule is posted on the DTA site. It's always every night at 9pm.

It'll be me, my sis, and my 19 month old niece. We're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort, water view (no standard left ).

It's our first time at CSR. We're really excited. We were going to go the week before, but of course they blacked out that week. Boy am I glad we didn't buy our airfare yet. I got a great deal on airfare, jumped on it, and then a few days later made our reservations for Disney.

Now it's the waiting game!

Well... I've changed the resort to CBR. Standard View.

Just booked today! Preferred room (requested pool side ground floor...yup expecting it to be loud and fun!) talked MIL to come and enjoy her DGD 11 before she is not a little kid anymore (although she is taller then me so I guess she is NOT a little kid anymore ) We requested joining rooms....any idea if this is impossible to get at POP? I don't care where they stick us, even if it is not in the preferred section, we need to be next door to each other or MIL will FREAK OUT !!!!

I can't believe we get to go bck so soon! My family hasa trip planned at the Poly in 2012 but we had nothing going on until then. My wonderful husband found a great deal through American Airlines so we're going to be staying at the Sheraton Safari (off property) from October 6th to October 10th. This will be our first time at the Food and WIne Festival (we are HUGE foodies so this is like heaven for us). This will also be our first MNSSHP. Any tips or reccomendataions are much appreciated.

Just back but already missing Disney. Thinking of going for MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival. Never been this time of year before. Hoping to stay at Pop again (just love this resort).

We went to POP in February with my MIL and requested adjoining rooms and it was no problem at all. In fact, we were really surprised that our rooms were ready when we arrived (around 9:30 am). We were also in the preferred section.

We have had adjoining several times at Pop..only once with preferred rooms. It was great to have the 2 bathrooms and kids could go to sleep while we stayed up for awhile.

October 1-8, 2010, Port Orleans Riverside.
This is the seventh time to Disneyworld in our ten years of marriage. I never tire of it. This is our first stay at Port Orleans. I am excited for my seven year old son to experience the hotel as we have been reading Huck Finn. As a Harry Potter fan, I am looking forward to experiencing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal as well. I bought the hidden magic and hidden Mickey books so we are planning a scavenger hunt (boys vs girls) with our kids. In the past we have just looked for the hidden Mickeys on our own but this time we will separate with cameras and books in hand and see who ends up with the most by the end of the day. My husband and I are dressing up as Jack Skellington and Sally one night. My kids are undecided about their costumes. Also, I just got the last Incredibles shirt in the mail today so that we all match for our annual Christmas card pic in the front of Main Street.

We are planning the same thing minus the Dessert Party, but still eating around the world sounds wonderful to me....
