We will be off to the world again for our annual fall break trip.We love October and hope it cools a bit this year, last year was HOT!!!!!!!!! Just planning on 3 of us for sure but may have 5 more tagalongs. They need to make up their mind before I make our ADR's. Happy Plannin' to all and see ya real soon

Hello fellow Kentuckian. We live approx. 90 minutes from Georgetown. We will also be in the World the 1st week of October and staying at POP as well. How exciting! We have never been during that time of year and we're looking forward to attending our 1st MNSSHP. Happy Planning to you.

I am just barely squeeking in for October.

I will be taking a 7 night Caribbean cruise for my 40th Birthday October 24-31 and will get off the ship at 8:00am, drive to WDW, check-in, take a nap and then put on my costume and head to MNSSHP that night!

So far I have 10 friends joining me on the cruise. We are still planning who will be joining me in Disney World. I have several 1st time Disney World folks so it should be fun. I think this will be my 12th time??

We will likely be at one of the All Star Resorts since the cruise and airfare is costing quite a bit already...REALLY hoping that Disney does FREE DINING again in October/November! YUM!

We always go in July to WDW, but my husband wants to go in Oct 10, How is the weather, crowds etc.

Apparently October is a crap shoot when it comes to weather! We went October 2-11, 2009 and it was 99+ degrees with 90% humidity every single day!!! But 4 days after we left it dropped into the 50-60 degree range!

This trip was originally planned as a 10th Anniversary trip for last August but we pushed it back due to a house fire in July. We had to find a new house, clean what we could, move etc so we moved it until June 2010 but decided to move it to October to give us a little more time to get the trip planned and paid for. Hopefully, we'll have enough $$ to go. We're (DH) 85% sure so I'm good with those odds. Especially since I've tentatively estimated our income tax return and it should over $2000 more than last year. This doesn't include the 1st time homebuyers credit either.

So I hope we'll see ya'll there!! Lord knows we NEED a vacation after the events of last year!!

We have postponed our January trip to October - probably the 3rd week. We've never been in October and are looking forward to F&W, plus Halloween decorations. I'm crossing my fingers this trip works out!

Wahoo! Just booked yesterday at the POP, October 18th to 23rd. It will be my first stay onsite, and my parents and daughters first trip ever! (I've only been once). We're doing 5 nights at Disney and then a quick drive down to Fort Lauderdale to hop on the Oasis of the seas for a week afterward to relax!

I'm currently in the planning stage of deciding on HALLOWEEN COUPLE COSTUMES!!! I've been doing a lot of looking online and most of the websites are having really good deals. The hubby and I are still looking at what we want to go trick or treating as!

Checked my email on Wednesday morning and was shocked to find a pin code! So, we booked the Grand Floridian for 10/17 - 10/22. Food and Wine Fest and MNSSHP here we come!!

I'm booking my trip THIS week! SO excited! We're going to WDW 10/2-10/8 and staying at POFQ! Originally the plan was to go in January but DH bought me some planning guides for Christmas and started flipping through them and realized the weather was kind of cold in January so he suggested that we move it up. (Like I was arguing with that! ) Of course, now with FL getting hit with this cold snap DH is walking around like I was the lunatic who wanted us to take the trip in January in the first place. (It was always his idea, LOL)

torn...we have gotten an offer from some school friends to use their rental condo for $500 week. Normally $700/week. It is in the linfields estates area. I figure with car rental and my annual pass upgrade it would cost us $930 or so. Much less than the $1200 POR ressie I have now. So thus the debate at my house..still going but just figuring the dates (10/16 to 10/23)

We are going 10/29-11/4 and are staying at BLT and AKV. I can't wait. We had to cut our Christmas trip short this year and this Halloween trip is to make up for it.
