2 more days! packing is a nitemare! we started last nite, but i have to admit packing for disney with kids is hard! i keep thinking im going to forget something. oy.
Glad to hear another positive vote for DTW.
I originally wasn;t that keen on the idea of getting a connecting flight. But by all accounts immigration is really quick in DTW, and the terminal looks awesome with it's monorail and magic light tunnel.
We have a 3 hour change over, so should be plenty for us to collect our luggage, clear immigration and check in.
And I even get my first Taco Bell of the last 3 years as there's one by our gate. Yum!
We leave in 2 days, and I spent 6 hours in Emergency with my 4 year old last nignt
The good news....it's not appendicitis. The bad news....it may be a stomach virus that the rest of us could get !At least this experience reminded me that I hadn't yet purchased trip medical insurance !
AND, to make life even more exciting, the dog is throwing up today too.
Crossing my fingers that the germs can be kept at bay, and that I'll get a good couple of nights sleep before we leave! Can't be exhausted at the beginnning of a Disney trip!
Thanks for letting me blow off some steam.............now desperately need a nap!

I need me some Taco!
Why we don;t have any kind of Mexican fast food at ALL in England upsets me - a lot!
Wow 9 sleeps...Going to start on the packing in the next few days...Hubby works offshore and is due off this week! I really hope there is no fog that is going to keep him on the rig! 5 days is the longest he has ever been stuck on it.
We're all packed now, and I just have 2 more days to get through at work.
It's so hard to concentrate though.
My excitement keeps getting turned into worry though, I think it's because of our connecting flight. I hate the stress of having to make a connection.
Once we're on the Detroit-Orlando plane, hopefully I'll start to get some magic. And then once we're on the ME I'm pretty sure I'll be bouncing in my seat the whole way.
