Disney just announced Remy will be closed Nov 10-13. It’s one of my 6 year olds favorites. We would be sorely disappointed staying at a Skyliner resort and planning to hit that ride first. They need to give at least 2-3 months notice.

I know they’re going to update Frozen, hopefully not at the same time.

We'll be there a week before this and breathed a sigh of relief it doesn't conflict with our trip. I feel bad for all the planners and the "once-in-a-lifetimers" that this affects. Same goes for rides that break down the day of. It's a bummer, for sure. But as Ross would say, you have to PIVOT.

But in all seriousness, I haven't been on Remy yet so I'm glad I get to see it in its 3D form before it changes.

Nov 22-26, Bay Lake Tower

Extended family group of 9. We have done the Saturday-Wednesday of Thanksgiving week many times. Always do two park days and one chill day.

Saturday - Morimoto Asia
Sunday - travel recovery, resort day, cooking dinner together in the 3BR
Monday: Epcot; Garden Grill breakfast and Tutto Italia dinner
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom, no party ticket so we’ll leave the park at 6 and enjoy one more evening hanging out together in the villa
Wednesday: leave

Got all our LLMPs and also Tron, Guardians and Mine Train this morning.

Easy. Tons of times for everything. Even got the elusive Slinky for an after dark time slot!

It’s just crazy to me that the starlight parade schedule has still not been posted for Nov 21, 30 days out! Nothing past Nov 1, so not even 2 weeks out?

Yes it is. I feel like every time we go they release the final hours and entertainment times later and later. I assume Thanksgiving week is going to get longer hours for MK but I have no clue when they'd post them. Do they release those on a 21-day rolling calendar for LLMP booking?

I know the hours will be adjusted a week or two beforehand (which is also ridiculous IMO).

I’m looking at MDE for the park hours (on the home page-you can click all hours where today’s hours are listed). I wanted to add the electric parade to my plans so we can keep that in mind when scheduling LLMP on our second day. We have to work around dinner, lining up for fireworks and LLSP (Tron will most likely be sold out so SDMT) to schedule the third.

Nov 8/9th might have filming of the annual ABC Disney parks family holiday once upon a Christmastime parade instead of festival of fantasy (during daytime).

Getting excited for real now! Leaving Saturday, long drive, and check in Monday. Got my LLs booked, and now I don't know what else to do. It's almost a let down - all the planning is pretty much over! Now I'm just checking the app every day for fun to see how fast Tier 1s are running out! Did we forget to do anything? I'm questioning my touring plans and all my choices in this "lull." Gah, can't wait to get there and just enjoy!

I got the email telling me I can buy my lightning lanes at the end of the week I plan on starting to pack Friday after work. I'm getting excited but shocked it's suddenly here lol

One week out! So excited! Got the lightning lanes I wanted no problem this morning. Tiana's at 2 on day 1. Slinky at noon on day 2. Several days I bumped the times later, because they were giving me 9 AM for the first one, and I know we won't be there that early most days! LOL.

Happy day before our travel month all!

I made our Lightning Lane passes yesterday - managed to get everything we wanted which is great! I'm going to start pulling stuff out to pack tonight after trick or treating is done in my neighborhood. It will be fun since I had to buy a new suitcase (my zipper broke but it was an Amazon brand set I bought in 2020 and I've used a bunch since I bought it) and the new one hasn't shown up yet.

Has anyone booked a LL for the Zootopia attraction at AK. I was wondering if it would be a good use of LLMP and if it was selling out.

Thrill data has it selling into pm for the first few days. It would be for 11/24 for us (so similar to 11/10 availability; booking window opens 11/14 for us - checking in 11/21)

Does anyone know why there isn’t a second showing of Fantasmic on 11/27? There is only one show during JNs, but usually 2 showings for most days (esp during holidays) and this is Thanksgiving day!

Thankfully (pun intended) we do have a Fantasmic package but this will be super crowded. I’ve seen 2 shows on previous Thanskgiving vlogs.
