***Official November 2014 thread***

Ok so it's going to be our first time going in November. Trying to think ahead regarding bags to take to the park, etc. I'm thinking a smaller cross body purse for me with the basics, sunscreen, meds, band aids, IDs, phone, camera, cc, all that jazz. Am I allowed to take that on rides? Also looking to bring a small collapsible cooler for drinks, snacks, etc, then maybe a change of outfits for our DDs just incase. Will those things be ok left in our stroller while we are away from it??

We always leave the stroller with bags on/in it. The only thing I usually take on rides are my cross body and big camera (if I decide to haul it for the day). We have never had an issue other then not being able to find the stroller after CMs move it while we are on the ride!

Thanks guys!!!

Okay, so I had CG reservations on 11/10 @ 735 but I think wishes is at 10p... Should I aim for a later reservation? It's just DH & I for 10 yr anniv and of course we want very badly to see fireworks at supper...

Are you sure they're at 10? I have reservations the same night and was told that the Holiday Wishes show is at 9:30. We have 7:45 reservations.

That stuff and/or a small cooler should be fine in the stroller (coolers have to be smaller than 24"x 15"x 18").

I personally would not leave a bag especially if you are going to have ID, camera, phone, etc. in it. I don't do thrill rides, but every other ride I have been able to wear my cross body hipster.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Dis so I apologize if this has been asked before. My fiancé and I are going to WDW from Nov. 27-Dec 7 for our honeymoon.

Since we are traveling there on thanksgiving, we wanted to make ADRs for liberty tree tavern that night. How crowded does MK get on thanksgiving? Does anyone think there is a possibility the park might close due to crowds? And if so will they still let you in if you have ADRs?

Also are there special holiday wishes that night?

Thanks!

Congratulations!

WDW is very crowded at Thanksgiving, MK may close at some point during the day. It s closed in stages, you can read about the stages here: http://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/capacity-closures You should be able to get in unless MK gets to the last phase of closing.

For the LTT reservation I suggest making the ADR right at 180 days from your arrival if you are staying onsite.

I'm not sure if there are special fireworks that night.

I am just going by the easy WDW site. It shows holiday wishes at 10. I thought they were earlier but now I'm not sure.

*edited to add:
I have our tickets for later in the week in the fed ex folder at home - ill open them this afternoon & see if there is a schedule or anything in the packet. No don't remember getting any maps or schedules in years past but I may have overlooked it in the past...

That may be a mistake, party fireworks are at 9:30.

I see where that is on easy wdw, but if you look at the other party days he lists Wishes:none.

So should I keep 735 you think? Seems it is a little early...Or should I try for an 8ish or even 9 on reservation? We will be at US that morning then planning a relaxed evening & nice dinner ... So we are pretty flexible on the time of the reservation & it appears on MDE there are other times open... I don't want to hog ADRs but want a good time slot... 915 is open on MDE

When my BF and I did CG for our anniversary, I did a late dinner reservation, and wishes ocurred right after we ordered our dinner. The waiter came out and told us it was time and everything. He even brought me my cocktail out there because I wasn't sure if I could bring it or not. Our reservation was at 930. I'm guessing it was 10pm Wishes night.

I'm going to grab the 915 and if they don't seat us pretty quickly we can grab a cocktail & watches the show while we wait for a table. I'm so excited !!! 10 years seems like the blink of an eye looking back now, and to celebrate in WDW without our boys is going to be an entirely new experience...

Any experience with different web browsers for making ADRs? Does Chrome work best? What about Safari? Just wondering...

Firefox was the only thing that worked for me today. No idea why...but I was able to make them using only that.

The MDE app worked fine this morning, and Safari worked fine yesterday too. The site was just really troublesome that one day. Crossing my fingers each morning til all my days are booked!

Am going to try to make my ADRs tomorrow. Hoping my split stay does not prevent me from doing the +10 tomorrow, and that it fast, as I will only have 25 minutes to do it before I leave for work!

Following along! Returned yesterday from WDW and booked bounceback for AKL Nov 16-23. Can't wait as Disney depression has already set in. November will be a first for us and I'm looking forward to some cooler temps - this past week the weather was brutal!

Got all our ADR's taken care off. For some reason the site hates my computer, so I was frustrated all day about it, but it worked just fine on my husbands so when he got home from work we took care of the whole thing. Got everything we wanted except for 'Ohana where the only available time was too late to expect my 3 year old to be on her best behavior(9:20pm), so we switched that one out for a more reasonable time at Fulton's instead. My husband loves seafood so we are more than ok with that switch. Now I can sit back and count the days.

Who's going Thanksgiving Week? Care to share your itinerary? I am waffling on my MK days.
