***Official November 2014 thread***

I'm new to this board but just booked our trip yesterday. Our dates are Nov 15-22 staying in family suite at Art of animation. Me and my 5 kids. Will be there to celebrate my daughters 6th bday and my other daughters 14th bday. They don't know. I want to surprise them! Keeping my fingers crossed for free dining!

We booked our trip Monday. November 10-16 all star sports. The dates/resort may change depending on the details of the free dining, if it's offered this year.

Well we are having to change our dates to November 14th to the 22nd cause my DH company called and put him on another boat to train on to learn a new route, so new schedule, but I am putting my best magical smile and thinking of this positively and saying hey more decorations will be up and less of a crowd.
:-) Plus its the week before thanksgiving so its a better week to take kids out of school cause they don't do much the week before they let out anyways!

What has the traditional free dining offer in November looked like in the past? All quick service? One QS and one TS? We plan to stay at a moderate if that helps.

Thanks!

Moderates have got the one quick, one table, one snack per night plan.

Count me in for November- I'll be staying at Pop with my friend from the 15-20th.
Both 1st time Disneyworld visitors :)

Count us in! November 8th through the 15th with our extended family (ages 18 months to 50 +, first timers and old timers). My wife and I will be extending the trip, either coming in before or staying after those dates. Not sure where yet, but most likely a value. Super excited, can't wait to see THE MOUSE!!

So many new folks to joing the fun! Welcome everyone!

I am having tons of fun planning Disney and learning all the ins and outs of it all! My DH keeps telling me that I am going to ruin everything for myself by planning so much and I told him NOTHING can ruin Disney lol

And honestly with ADRs and FP+, you HAVE to plan plan plan!
I think the planning is almost as much fun as the trip!

Yea that's a good question! My husband has a good point of not wanting to plan everything but I am thinking we should plan our nightly dinners and fp the big rides like space mountain etc, what doo yall think with a family of 5 I don't want to take to much spontaneity out of it all but at same time i want time to see things

LOL

My excuse is that planning is half the fun! I love looking at menus, planning routes, making spreadsheets with times and places. Planning is my hobby!

I get to join two threads as my (and my fiance's) next visit is over October & November! Disneyland, then Walt Disney World followed immediately by a Disney Cruise! When you come all the way from Australia you might as well make the most of it. Oh & while I'm in the Oct thread as well - November is where the party really starts!

We just booked! We will be flying from CA on Nov 5th and staying as of now at AKL unless I can change to BWV or BCV in August. My husband is planning on running the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon to get his Coast to Coast medal. We will check out on the 10th and get on the Dream for a 4 day cruise with a double-dip to Castaway Cay! We will then check back in on the 14th at AKL for one night and fly home the 15th.

As of now, we have never been to WDW but we are going for Spring Break with the 3 kids. Hopefully we will be able to feel it out and be able to better plan our November trip. In November it is just Hubby and I. We will be celebrating our 10 year Anniversary, two years late!! Life just gets in the way. Oh well, 12 is a great number also!

We are also doing the W&D for our C2C! You will love the Dream! Make sure to run the 5k on Castaway Cay as well!

I am officially off the November list. DH's vacation time wont' work out. The good part our July trip that was supposed to be 2-3 days is going to be our long trip, so not as long as wait! What better way to celebrate turning 39!
Happy planning to everyone here and I will someday get my Halloween/Christmas trip :)
