Decided to switch from Swan to AKL a few days ago. Want to be sure we get all of the FP+ privileges! Super excited to stay at AKL. It's one of those resorts we've always wanted to stay at, but have always ended up staying elsewhere for various reasons.

We also had a chance at a charity event to grab 6 nights/7 Days in an off-site condo (10 min from Disney) for $450, which was a steal. It also included gift cards for eating out and Walmart, but we passed on it not know the FastPast + situation, so we are still planning to stay on-site.

Hey guys! Anyone had a chance to try the updated MDE app? I like the opening page! It now shows your reservations as soon as you log in and then you can swipe the icons across the top to navigate what page you want to go to next. When you are waiting for the page to load it makes the green 'magic band circle', like you get when you scan your bands when to go into the parks. I like it.

We are all booked for the November trip!! We finally took the plunge and purchased DVC.

To that end, we will be at The grand Floridian (wow!!!) from Nov. 6 through Nov 11.

We will be enjoying our third November trip (non-consecutive ... took 2013 off because I had a baby and used all of my time off for maternity leave so no time for a vacation) this year as well! Nov. 13-22. Currently booked at AKV but hoping to get into Bay Lake Towers when our 7 month DVC window opens.

We went for a short trip in April and a long weekend trip in October and we love, love, love November/early December. Perfect weather, perfect crowd levels!

We're official!

Our school calendar just came out and we will get all of Thanksgiving week off next year, so we're going to Disneyworld. We will be there from November 22-29! We did Thanksgiving back in 2009 and I thought crowds were comparable to June but without the heat. I'm excited! I'm trying to decide whether I should stick with a moderate or take the plunge and stay at WL.

We did buy direct. Wanted the options of the cruise, Ect. We did look at resale, maybe when we decide to add more points.

We will be going! Hopefully the last day of our trip. I don't know why but I am always surprised by how many people are at the parties, both halloween and Christmas. Last year people were lining up for the first Christmas parade before 7! and by 7:15 there wasn't a place left to sit on main street. And this was on a Thursday night in the middle of November.
I'm not sure we really get our money out of them, as my kids are young and fell asleep during the fireworks last year (and we sit and wait for the parade for an hour), but I'd feel like I was missing out if we didn't go. Love getting the Santa picture and the parade.

It was right before the official opening of "New Fantasyland", and what we did was went out to the Town Hall when we arrived at the parks, and checked to see if he would be coming out, as they have a list of characters and locations there, and lo and behold, he was out right at the walls by New Fantasyland.

My suggestion is, check with Town Hall when you arrive and they should be able to tell you when and where a character will appear!

My party will consist of me turning 30 for the 10th time on 11/15, DSis who will also be celebrating her birthday but it is technically 11/27 and my DS7. I will be leaving my DH and DS2 in NJ for this trip but we do intend to book December 2015 for the family. I booked this trip using the BB offer on my last trip 1/27-2/1/14 but hoping I can turn this trip discount into free dining.

Welcome! We will be there similar days (13-21), I will be turning 30 for the fifth time on November 15th, and staying at POFQ on a BB too! And also hoping to get FD, but realize we will probably have to leave POFQ to get it.

Just got the confirm that our deposit was posted!!! We will be at WL from 11/15 through 11/22. DH hasn't been since 1998. I haven't been since 1990. First time for DS and DD, who will be 7 and 4. We are all excited!!

Getting anxious as we continue to wait for park hours! We are really hoping for the last MNSSHP on Nov. 1 or 2 and MVMCP on Nov. 7th before we leave!!!
