How fun for you! I took my DGD for her first time when she was 2.5 and she loved everything so much! She dressed up as a princess every day and every time a CM said "hello, princess" she was so excited. She loved all of the rides, especially Pirates and Haunted Mansion. She's 6 now, and those two are still her favorites.

It is "only" three weeks, but I am so excited about this. I figure you only turn 40 once.

Corinna

It sounds awesome :thumbsup2

Did you all hear as well Oswald is coming to Disneyland on sept 14th for meet and greets.. This made me so excited today can meet him in November :goodvibes:hyper:

I first read about this somewhere a couple of weeks ago and was so excited.

The family and I will be taking our first trip to the west coast and DLR in November and I will also be celebrating my birthday. I can't wait! :dance3: :dance3: November 8-13 staying at the Doubletree. :cheer2:

It's officially 60 days out anniversary dinner booking time.

I'm looking at the online reservations for Carthay Circle the latest sitting i can find it 7:10 (with a 7:30 closing) I'm guessing this would mean closing time would be 8pm?

Would this be a "waste" of our last hour in the park? would we be better off getting a later reservation after closing at say, steakhouse 55 or napa rose?

Mark this family down for November 2nd thru the 8th, staying at PPH.

Should be a fun time!

Its 61 day's out for my family. What is left on your to-do list!?

Ive got most mine down to the last few items. Would love to see what everyone else has in case I forget anything:laughing:

1. finish buying gift cards for DDs visit to BBB ($100 left to go!)
2. buy Christmas pajama's & slippers for the hotel. Waiting on Disney store to release them!
3. Purchase our 1 day Legoland passes. Surprising the kids with a stop on our way there. Already paid for the Legoland hotel.

I got our photo pass and Character breakfast pre paid voucher's and will start making reservations tomorrow! Kids shirts have come in from Etsy too! Just collecting all the little things here and there that we will need for the hotel and travel but the main chunks are pretty much done. Getting so excited!:santa:

For Legoland, if you haven't already, try to find the kids go free coupons in the Lego Club magazine. There is a coupon in the current issue.

Thank you for the idea! We got one coupon inside the Lego Movie when we bought a copy but still need another. I will go check my sons magazine out now!

I found this thread a couple of pages back. :wave2: Dh and I, along with the two dears, will be there for thanksgiving week. 11/23-11/28. We will also be there Nov 1st for the last day of our Halloween weekend. I'm wondering, for those of you that will be there the same week, what are your Thanksgiving plans? It's getting close to the time to make reservations and I'm not sure what I want to do. A few years ago we had Thanksgiving dinner at Storytellers. We loved the atmosphere and while the buffet was good, it seemed rather limited. Do the others have more options? Has anyone done the Thanksgiving feast? It's not in the budget for this year, but I would love to hear about it!

We will also be there over Thanksgiving and I am a bit stumped what we can do for dinner that day.

Corinna

I was thinking storytellers for thanksgiving dinner for us this year will be interested to see other opinions is weird they haven't released any info about thanksgiving options given you can make bookings for it in the next few days
I just made dining reservations for 21st and 22nd Nov

We'll be making a quick trip to DL after my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration in the Bay Area. :cake:

Nov 2-5. Staying at the Park Vue for the first time. :goodvibes
