I just found out we are probably going in November too... My husband has never been, and it has been a few years for me... and I have never been when it is not summer before! SO excited to see the park at a different time of year?

When do they switch over from fall to holiday? We will be there from the 9th - 14th.

We will be there Nov 15-21. Hopefully all of the Christmas decorations will be up in the parks.

This post of the Superthread breaks everything down for you as far as dates and when decorations start to go up, etc. Last year's dates have been left in for reference, and as more info is released about this season I will get rid of the 2013 info.

And this post has Frequently Asked Questions (and answers) with links to previous years' schedules for November and December. The 2014 schedules and info have not been released yet.

I'm gong November 10 to the 14 th. Taking my 8 year old for the first time my BFF and her 16 are coming with. I turn 40 nov 2. My 8 year old turns 9 on the 15 th and my BFF bday on the 10 th.

Staying at Paradise Pier. Booked my hotel and tickets of Disney site so I can make payments and make the PPH stay easier on the pocketbook.

November 7-10! A quick weekend trip (and my second DL trip ever!) for Haunted Mansion Holiday and a D23 Walt Disney Studios Tour! Disneyland Hotel

MY DD(8) and I will be there for Thanksgiving, Nov. 25-29. It will be our second visit. Last visit was over Easter, and we got to hunt eggs at the DLH. We are staying there again and eager to try out the new pool (or, DD is...too cold for me!).

Add us to the list.....we (me, DH and DS (1)) are going with some friends of ours and their three kids, Nov 16-21. These are the friends that convinced us WDW-folks to give DLR a try, and it did not disappoint! So we're excited to go with them. Staying at WorldMark. First ever Holiday trip to any Disney park!

Hmm, not sure about first ride! I like to meander, so I'll probably let the kids decide.

We'll be going Nov 1 through 7th with friends, have our 2 bedroom at the VGC reserved! Super excited, it'll be the last trip on these AP's which we're letting expire, then will cruise in 2015 and get new ones after that.

Not sure what the first ride will be ... still deciding whether we want to come the night before when my girlfriend arrives with her kids to do the MNSSHP or do Halloween here.

Lately we've been starting in DCA, either with RSR, or more likely TSMM/Screamin, then heading over to RSR just before the DCA opens to non-hotel guests. Love starting the day with E-tickets!

First trip with our kids 3 years ago we invited my husbands 3 siblings and Dad. His sisters is married with a child, So 6 family members total. It was fun to have family there but hard to coordinate meet ups and stuff so our 2nd trip it was just our family of 4. I have to say I missed having other people there to share in all the fun. This November my mom is coming which I'm excited about and I invited my BF and her little family. It's up in the air until closer for them. I'm hoping some other family ends up coming. My kids love having everyone there.
We always go to Disneyland the first day and I make the kids go straight to my favorite, Pirates of the Caribbean and then to the Haunted Mansion for the Nightmare before Christmas overlay. Then its all up to everyone else. lol

So what is everyone's favourite thing to eat at Disneyland? Im really really looking forward to a mickey pretzel. After our last trip, I craved them for so long!

Are you planning on doing anything else during your trip or is it all disney all the time?!!

We have 6 days to spend, and we are doing 5 days at Disneyland and we are tossing around the idea of Legoland. We have never been there before.

We'll be in Anaheim for 11 days but only have a 10 day pass, so we'll probably do an LA tour and also spend a couple of half days shopping. We were at DL in March last year for my 40th but can't resist taking DD5 to see the Christmas decorations.

We loved the Corn dogs. I still think about them often

We are spending 4 days in the park and going to Lego Land for 1 day before we do Disneyland. My kids will be 6 and almost 4 and both love Lego's and The Lego movie so we figured why not. Everyone tells us its not worth it and you can only spend a day there so we will give it a day for the kids. Im kind of excited. May even book one night at the Lego Land Hotel!
