***Official November 2013***

We are have 6:25 reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving Day. In 2011 we had Teppen Edo but this year my DH wanted a more traditional Thanksgiving dinner so I booked Liberty Tree. I also thought it would be fun to be in the MK on Turkey Day.

My DH really wants turkey too! It's his favorite holiday because of the turkey!! Lol We will be at Cape May that evening. Enjoy, I heard Liberty has a great Thanksgiving dinner!

We will be there too!! We'll be there for dinner! I'm looking forward to it! From reading past menus, everything sounds great!!

The menu does sound great. We have had breakfast there and loved it, so I hope dinner is just as good.

Unfortunately, I don't know what would help. It might be on their end for the credit card processing aspect of it (PCI compliance and all that). Did you try FireFox? As much as I use IE at work (I know, I know...lol), I have found that Firefox works for me better at home.

I'm sorry I can't help more.

Thanks Figmentchick. I'm not that IT knowledgable and it's not that big a deal. I just thought being Disney and all the IT stuff they do, the website would work better than this. I found some other posts and people complaining they couldn't make payments either. Just would think the taking the money part would be first priority to make sure it works. :rotfl2:

Have you tried calling the Disney reservation line (not IT) and make your payment over the phone?

No I haven't tried calling since it's not due until October and not that important. The "fear" of sitting on hold for a long period of time makes it not worth it. I figured if i have to wait, I can just do it the end of September and pay it all at once!!!

Just found it odd as my friend and I were side by side laptops and she was able to use her for deposit. When I was having problems with another site, I thought OH maybe I was on Chrome and thats why.
Now I know it's not totally Chrome but I got a little further on Internet explorer. With my luck it will wipe out the gift card and not apply the payment.

:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

It's a gloomy day here and having a gloomy mood day.
Maybe I'll see if I can find some other magic :wizard: by giving myself some down time and watch some TV. Rare for me.

I had dinner there two trips ago (regular night, not Thanksgiving) and it was great! They have a big selection! I'm a very picky eater, and I was still able to find something that even I enjoyed! lol The deserts are crazy! So many to choose from! Enjoy!

That is great to hear as there are a few picky eaters.

According to our tickers (which are the same) you will be checking in a day after we do.

Oh how funny! I am on the app and I can't seem to see any tickers. It's our favorite time to go!! The Christmas atmosphere is magical. Have you ever been at that time?

Was I contagious?! You're not allowed to be gloomy. You cheered me up, so it's just not permitted.
So what do we have to do to cheer you up? Should I put on my clown face? :clown: Seriously, I never thought I'd use that clown smiley, that's gotta be worth a smile. Or do you prefer the jester?:joker: Would you like a song?:mic: A dance? A magic trick? pixiedust:
Notice I tried to include a lot of lesser used smileys so no one was left out. And of course dancing banana!

Yes, we were there Thanksgiving week for our very 1st trip and then twice the week after. The last 3 times have been in the summer and we did miss all the Christmas decorations.

We were originally booked for 11 days leaving Thursday 11/14 and coming back Sunday 11/24. We also have non refundable airfare but I kept checking prices with SW. About a month ago I was checking airfare on SW and it was less expensive to fly out on a Wed and fly home on a Monday. So we were able to add an additional day at the beginning and end and stil have a credit with SW :cool1:

I don't get it, if it was non-refundable wasn't there a huge change fee per ticket? Or do you mean that even with the change fee the amount you were saving covered it? We have round trip tickets on JetBlue for $248 each (all taxes and fees included). With a $150 change/cancel fee I can't see us recouping the price of the fee even with a reduced face.

I believe SW does not charge change fees. You just need to pay the difference in the fare.

:welcome: It looks like a terrific plan! Where in Jersey are you from? I am from very South Jersey and there are a few others from Jersey on here. :goodvibes

(Oh.....and I talk that much and more in real life. :rotfl:)

Must be a Jersey thing. I have trouble talking slow enough to be understood when I go down south :)

I grew up in Monmouth county but I'm up in Morris County now - I still miss being closer to the shore.

I'm so much more excited for this trip than the one we took 3 years ago. I have to experience something once before I can take full advantage of it.

edited to add: I already changed something since last night. The kids were not thrilled with some of my restaurant choices so I switched out the Wave with the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We will still do a tour of the monorail resorts that night, we will just have to figure out how to get to them after going to the Wilderness Lodge.

Oh, that is so cool. SW was more expensive for me than JetBlue (out of Newark), plus my FIL and hubby would never go for the whole you sit where ever the heck there is a seat left - they like to pick their seats.

I am so excited because I didn't think this trip would happen. It's a little last minute for my liking so of course there were no ADR's available for the places I know my DD6 would really want to eat at. But this will just help the budget :rotfl2: Here are our (well my surprise pixiedust:) plans

The trip is geared around my DD6 so I may have to miss some of my favorite rides but that is ok. There will be lots of fun, playing, snacks and face paint!! Any suggestions or advice are welcome!!

We are using SW for the 1st time and I am not too keen on the seating. For JetBlue is just too expensive. We used them on our 1st 3 trips because they were so cheap, but now they are one of the most expensive out of our airport.

Edit: I forgot to add that we did pay for priority seating (or what ever it is called) do that we should be in one of the 1st groups to board.

Good for you!:thumbsup2:yay: So glad you got what you wanted.:goodvibes We are at POR too but will miss you by a few days.

You inspired me to call again about adding my one more day at the end of our trip and once again the CM told me that POR is entirely sold out for FD for that day.:sad1:

Thanks so much Coconuts I wish our days overlapped some. We wanted to try POR when the royal rooms came out and thought perfect timing with FD. It has always showed nothing that's why I couldn't believe it CM said they had just released more rooms so don't give it. Keep checking multiple times a day if you can I'm sure they will open more up as it gets closer to Sept 15.

Sending pixiedust: your way

Thanks, I hope so too.:guilty: I have sunk into gloominess today along with RejoiceOverDisney.:sad1: But insomnia and a migraine doesn't help.:headache: Add onto this that I know I have to be up until 9am tomorrow, I just want to cry. Sorry for the pity venting. I'm done now and don't even want to think about WDW for the rest of the day. I'll start fresh when I wake up tomorrow.

Well, I live across the river in PA and I have a reputation for jibber jabbering too. :) I have a twin sister who lives in Cape May, NJ and she does not jabber as much as me.

Yes, the monorail resorts are so much more convenient. I was telling my sister today that I would probably try Boma if it was not so difficult to get to. I had thought about Whispering Canyon as well.

Passaic Co. Here!

Thanks! I actually just reserved Ohana breakfast, I have never eaten there and really wanted to. Is there some regular "American" food there, DH and DD are a little on the picky side and don't really like to try new things. I saw mickey waffles, so figured they would be OK.

Where is Boma, and what kind of food? Would I do a dinner or a breakfast?

With the CM discount, we were only able to get the basic dining plan, so only 1 TS a day for us. I figured since it was so late in the game we wouldn't get a lot of ressies anyway, so it will be ok.

Boma is at the Animal Kingdom Lodges. They serve a buffet breakfast and dinner with an African flare. If you are not adventurous, I would definitely do breakfast. They do have "American" options for dinner as well though, so you could always try it and hit the carving station if you don't like the other stuff.
