***Official November 2013***

89 Days!! Wow, feels like its going fast now!!

91 days for me. :goodvibes I wish it would hurry up and get here. I have changed resorts twice(now WL), changed from courtyard view to CL, changed ADR's to many times to remember, and continually modify our plans. I need a vacation to get away from all this vacation planning.... Oh wait I did that, I booked another trip to WDW for June 14. :rotfl2:

Yeah, hubby misses our local Hooters so I said we MIGHT go while were in Florida :thumbsup2 Doesn't mean we will...I love their burgers! I had thought that you couldn't pick up your park tickets til the day your package starts:confused3 But :cool1:, if I'm allowed.
I do have DTD on my list of things to do on arrival day.

You can pick them up three days prior to your pkg. If you go under theme park attractions and strategies. Look for everything about wdw tickets. Section#15 part I has the procedure about early ticket pickup.

Jumping on board a little late. I started reading the first page and was totally confused about people saying when they were staying and then saying they were hoping to get free dining or hoping to get certain resorts. Then I realized this thread was started a year ago. :rotfl: I guess I need to take my Disney planning a little more serious next time.

Anyway, we are going 11/13-11/20 staying in a 2 bedroom villa at OKW with my husband, 3 boys (13, 10 and 6) and my MIL and FIL with the free dining plan.

This is my plan:

11/13
Fly into MCO from Jersey at 11:57am
hubby and FIL picking up car rest of us taking ME
if the room is ready when we get there a couple of us will probably go to store to pick up breakfast foods, fruit and milk for the week
hopefully get to Epcot by 3pm (if we don't get to store)
dinner at Chefs de France at 7:20 PM
watch illuminations and head off to bed.

11/14
Use car to go to Islands of Adventure and finally get to see the WWoHP! We plan to be there at RD for non resort guests.
Booked a table for lunch at Mythos there for early afternoon when the crowds get heavier.
IOA closes at 7pm so I made dinner ressie at 7:45 at Olivia's

11/15
return car to CCC on our way to MK
MK closes at 7pm for non party people so we are heading to the Wave for 6:50 reservation. Check out Contempo and then head over to Poly to watch EWP and the fireworks.

11/16
AK rope drop. It closes at 5pm, but we may leave early depending how the day is going. Head back to OKW and take the boat over to DTD for dinner at Raglan Road at 7:30. Hopefully check out the Lego store while we are there.

11/17
Epcot at RD. We have dinner reservations at 4:05 for the Garden Grill. Depending on how much we get done and if we got to see Illuminations on the first night, we may make this an early day and go back and enjoy the pool. Anyone know what time pools are open until in November?

11/18
HS at RD. I'm going to head to TSMM for fast passes while rest of family goes over and sees if we can get 10 year old into Jedi Training. We have a 1:40 ressie for PrimeTime Cafe. Main goal of the day according to 6 year old is to ride the ToT 10 times. My main goal (besides ToT because it is AWESOME) is to see Fantasmic and the Osbourne lights. Everything else is icing. Park closes at 8pm.

11/19
MK at RD. Hit whatever we didn't hit on Friday or go back to favorites. We have reservations for Tony's at 5:55. We may leave in the afternoon to enjoy resort pool and come back for dinner and then stay to see Wishes and the Goodnight Kiss. I never saw wishes up close. I was all about the rides last time and I couldn't stop running everywhere. I'm trying to make this a more relaxing trip and to take the time to notice all the little Disney extras.

11/20
Go back to Epcot for last day (may change this depending on how the rest of the week goes) We have lunch ressie at Coral Reef for now. We have to be back to OKW by 4:15 to catch the ME.

Last time we took advantage of all the late night EMH so we were out late every night. We had a great time, but I exhausted everyone. I wasn't sure if we would ever have the opportunity again and I wasn't about to "waste" a second. I think I have more realistic plans this time.

Man this is a long post, and yes, i do talk that much in person :)

:welcome: It looks like a terrific plan! Where in Jersey are you from? I am from very South Jersey and there are a few others from Jersey on here. :goodvibes

(Oh.....and I talk that much and more in real life. :rotfl:)

Hi Everyone!!
I am normally a lurker and trip report stalker but I'm finally start to come out of my shell and post stuff :) I just found your page tonight and I am so excited to say that I just booked a surprise trip for me and my 6yo DD Meghan!!! We arrive the 11th and stay through the 16th! I'm gonna try and catch up but wow 168 pages! That may take a while!!

:welcome: Where are you staying and I will add you to the first post?

And don't worry about reading the first 125 pages or so.....I did start the thread about a year ago cause I was all booked and bored. :lmao: But, planning is fun for me.

And now I'm going to see if I can maybe get someone on WDW chat today. I tried numerous times yesterday, but it kept saying unavailable. Oh, well....if I have to, I'll call IT. No big issues, I'm just poking around to see what happens to the poor travellers who are both in October and November and if we *might* be fortunate enough for FP+. I doubt it, but it never hurts to ask.

Our good news from today is that our 5 month old baby finally slept in his stroller! For an hour and a half!

This bodes very well for our Disney trip... He went through a month or so of hating his stroller and crying anytime I took him out in it, but one day he magically loved it again! So much that he refused to sleep in it.

I was starting to get worried about how we would do WDW with a baby who doesn't sleep in his stroller... But tadah! Today he did! :)

Just need to keep it up now, until our trip!

Also, we're contemplating booking a "First Haircut" for him while we're there from the MK barber. Is 7 months too little, do you think?!

Booking our November trip this weekend! November 11-16, hoping to stay in Caribbean Beach, as long as it is still available!

I never booked so close before, my nephew is a new CM, in the college intern program, so we are taking advantage of his discounts. I know I probably won't get great dining reservations, but that's ok.

Looking for some info on the less popular restaurants.

I do have DTD on my list of things to do on arrival day.

I picked up my tickets 3 days early last year, no issues just be clear the tickets are part of a package since they look in a different spot for them. The one who have us our tickets told us they wouldn't be on our KTTW when we heckled in but they were with out even asking.

So we really love POFQ but wanted to try POR Riverside Royal Rooms with FD. As you all know nothing has been available since the beginning or it has been very limited. This moring at work I decided to check the Disney site just for laughs and I couldn't believe my eyes not only was it showing availibility but for our entire stay.

Thankfully we didn't have a doctor this morning and I could get on the phone right away. Did I mention I work for 3 doctors? Anyway I called and we are now officially booked at POR Riverside Royal Rooms from Nov 13- 25 :woohoo:

I'm sorry this is long just had to share my excitement. DD's excited to stay in the Royal Rooms and so am I :rotfl:

Please forgive me FigmentChick for yet another change

Good for you!:thumbsup2:yay: So glad you got what you wanted.:goodvibes We are at POR too but will miss you by a few days.

You inspired me to call again about adding my one more day at the end of our trip and once again the CM told me that POR is entirely sold out for FD for that day.:sad1:

Better late than never! : )
I've seen some Boma availability the week of the 17th.

I feel like this is a weird problem to have.
My final payment isn't due until the beginning of October but I wanted to apply a gift card that was given. I tried to use it when I paid my deposit but it wouldn't go through. I realized the other day a lot of sites don't like chrome so maybe that was the problem because it kept making me log in instead of getting to payment page. So last night I got on internet explorer. I got to payment page and it looked like it was going to work until I went to do "apply payment".

I figure I'll call IT today for a magical conversation, but then was reading and thought maybe Figment Chick or someone else with IT knowledge might have an answer.

My other question is how do I apply one of those Visa prepaid cards that you get instead of a company giving you money for their promotion.

Today is day 79. :cheer2:

Thanks! I actually just reserved Ohana breakfast, I have never eaten there and really wanted to. Is there some regular "American" food there, DH and DD are a little on the picky side and don't really like to try new things. I saw mickey waffles, so figured they would be OK.

Where is Boma, and what kind of food? Would I do a dinner or a breakfast?

With the CM discount, we were only able to get the basic dining plan, so only 1 TS a day for us. I figured since it was so late in the game we wouldn't get a lot of ressies anyway, so it will be ok.

Is anyone eating at a Disney restaurant for Thanksgiving? If so, where?

We are have 6:25 reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving Day. In 2011 we had Teppen Edo but this year my DH wanted a more traditional Thanksgiving dinner so I booked Liberty Tree. I also thought it would be fun to be in the MK on Turkey Day.

Unfortunately, I don't know what would help. It might be on their end for the credit card processing aspect of it (PCI compliance and all that). Did you try FireFox? As much as I use IE at work (I know, I know...lol), I have found that Firefox works for me better at home.

I'm sorry I can't help more.

I've never eaten at O'hana, this will be our first trip for that, so I can't comment, but I believe most of the breakfast food is American.

As for Boma.....it's not. lol It has an African feel and they use African spices and cooking techniques. Hubby and I didn't think it was all that.....we much prefer Tusker House for the food.

Hope this helps!
