17 hours!!! I can hardly believe it! 10 months in the making and it's finally here (almost)! Safe travels everyone!

We leave the 22nd, can't wait it is my DS 8 very first trip!!!

We leave on the 22nd too! We will be checking in at Pop for that night and then moving to Coronado Springs the next morning. Be sure to get your son his first visit pin!! He will love it!

It is 5am I have been up off and on since 2am. Will wake the family in about an hour to head to Detroit airport. We will be at resort for a late lunch. Can't wait to see magic Bands - we are Canadian and have to pick them up at the resort. POR here we come. I fell like that comercial from a few years ago, "I'm too excited to sleep."

Have a safe trip! We love Riverside!!

Hey, fellow Canadian here. It's almost 3am and I can't sleep. We leave today and head for a red eye flight out of seattle and will be at POR very early Saturday. It's our first time to wdw though we do DL often. Soooooo excited!!! Haha I totally remember that commercial. The kid was so cute in it.

Oh my gosh! Why is there so much to do the day before I have to leave?
Not like I haven't been doing this since January.

Super excited to be leaving on the 7am tomorrow.
My ride comes at 5:45am. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Clothes are all laid out. Waiting for me to just get up, shower and go.

We arrive on 11/22 (just over a week Wooo Hoooo ). Three nights at AKL jambo savanah view then 5 nights at OKW

It is our first visit to AKL we are all excited Me DW DS15 DD 11 and DD5

You are gonna fall in love with AKL- we did! Say hi to the roan antelope for us!

think about it ladies! If you only had to pack your own clothes for a few days, how long would it take?
We pack more than our clothing and we care about which outfits we wear. I bet you even thought about which outfit you would wear in each park according to something that park means to you.

For example, I have a tshirt that has a Lion head. Which park do you think I will wear that to? Ok to be fair, I believe we are hopping to another park that afternoon sooooo. I'm wearing it to AK cause I love LION KING.

DH teases me about doing this, and like some other people's husbands on here, he waited till the last minute to pack too. (Ok, technically it was two days before, but only cuz we had baseball and band with the kids all day ther day before we left
But then the first morning we're there he asks "Which park are we going to today?" and I say "Hollywood Studios" and he says "OK, just making sure so I wear the right shirt" meaning his Empire Strikes Back shirt.

So do you all bring only comfy clothes and shoes? Do you bother with boots? In the summer it would be easy but since the weather will be chilly it will be annoying to wear jeans and sneakers with them. What do you wear with jeans that you can do a lot of walking in?

I have sneakers and capri jeans. And plan to wear my jeans with sneakers at night. I also am bringing some Teva sandals and Spenco flip flops.
I will have to swap out my shoes cause my feet get too tired if I wear the same ones all day or multiple days in a row.

When I can, the shoes will be off and my feet up.

I only wear sneakers at the parks along with my jeans. I bring nice shoes and boots for when we go to eat, and flip flops for pool time, but other than that, sneakers for everything else.

Question about photopass photos. We're here and I've asked photopass to use my camera to take pictures of dh and I, they have and then they take pictures with the photopass camera and scan our mb. I did not buy photopass so how can I see the photos?

There is a website that you log into. You don't have to buy the photopass to see the pictures. I dont remember where in the other parks, but there is a camera shop at MK in the beginning of the entrance to park. You can go there and talk to them and they can tell you how.
You can still purchase individual pictures if you want. Or order the CD.

Hiya Pals! Great day down here!
Kids did AWESOME on the plane POR does not seem too crowded and neither did MK when we were there from 3ish til 7. Used all our FP+s, pulled one for Under the Sea that we didn't even need! There was really NO wait. It was very lightly raining but even the CM's seemed stumped! Many rides were walk ons, including Under the Sea (loved it!)
The kids were troupers an my ASD boy did great, although he did melt down at the resort right after checking in, we took a lovely nature stroll o POR and he was recharged. We never even made it to get a DAS card and in 4 hours at MK we did 8 rides!

Just wanted to POP in quickly . A couple small illnesses aside, we are having a good trip. Thanks for all the pixie dust.

Just wanted to mention that we will have a case of water, wet wipes, oranges, apples and a couple energy drinks that we will be leaving behind on Tuesday morning (19th). I would like to be able to leave it to one person preferably. Please PM me and I will get back to you Monday.

There's no time for me to read updates either but wanted to report a few things.

The Gingerbread House at Grand Floridian opens today! We saw it all complete last night.

The lobby tree at Wilderness Lodge goes up Monday night and will be finished Tuesday.

We're having a great time!

Lime... Happy to hear your having a good time, regardless of the kids being sick!!! Both of mine were SO sick last year - 104.3 temp and tonsillitis for my DS and my DD kept vomiting!!! It was horrible but they were troopers with the doctors visits and such. Hope they get better soon!!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip!!
