I think it was about 11 I'm not 100 percent sure

I receive the brownie coupon but not the free sandwich one and my birthday is in 2 weeks. Maybe it will come closer to the 17th.

To everyone driving down becareful. Been on the road since 3am this morning from NJ and have passed 3 accidents. One in Maryland with a deer where car appeared to have hit it and flipped a few times. In DC saw a car in woods on its side. Finally anouther but to many emergency vehicles to see wha happened. Plz be safe everyone. We have a few more hours before we spend the night in Jacksonville then on to Disney in the morning.

Thanks for the well wishes! We're getting on the road in a bit. When we pop over to Ft.W we'll be looking for you and your cute Cars camper!

Just wanted to remind everyone tonight is "Fall Back!".

Lucky Disney peeps that are down there now. You get an extra hour of Disney time!!!

I was happy about this extra hour last night! We had a Looooong day with DS's band competition so getting back late we needed the extra sleep. Unfortunately they didn't make finals for state, but they did amazing and we were glad we got to watch him perform one last time.

And now, on to loading the car! AKL and WDW, here we come!!!

Does anyone know when the resorts start putting up Christmas decorations? And when the GF puts up the gingerbread house? We're staying poly 11/11-11/18... Any chance we'll get to see it?

I've read on a couple sites that yes, a good portion of the decorations will be up by Nov 8th including the gingerbread house.

The big tree in MK doesn't go up until Dec but the rest of the stuff will be rolled out bit by bit starting today.

Last year we were there from nov 8-17 the decorations were up at MK. The osbourne lighs were up. Decorations only went up at the resort POFQ the day before we went home and down town Disney was decorated one day before we went home. We missed the gingerbread house but I heard it was up our last day there . Praying POFQ decorates earlier this year. I vote It should be all of nov and dec lol

I think u have a chance to see it your last day or 2 . Just a guess based on our last 3 nov stays

Me too! DH got the sandwich and brownie coupon (birthday 11/7) but I only got the brownie (birthday 11/15). Maybe we have to be a little closer?

Our FD doesn't start till the 11 th so this sandwich is a plus. This is my 50 th bday celebration vacation. 4 more days. Hate the ecv thing but I'm not CANCELLING ill deal with it this year

My feet grew a half size each kid too and I am also now a size 9. I LOVE my Teva flip flops, I may even wear them in the parks on shorter days! They are the most comfy flip flops I've ever owned!

I was never a flip flop person, most look so uncomfortable and they have no support, but I wanted a pair for the pool and the teva ones were shaped so I bought them. Holy cow are they comfortable, like walking on a cloud. I wish I bought an extra pair because I wind up wearing them around the house as slippers and I've stretched the band out a bit from that.

LOL, sounds like we're having similar days. I'm prepping for homemade snacks (making applesauce for fruit leather) and in between stirs I'm rearranging the bookshelves to make more room, dusting, getting things organized that have just been in piles since we moved in a year ago. We have the birthday party in exactly a week, which will keep me busy cleaning and making pinatas and other games, then just cleanup from that and packing! I know the days are going to fly by, they'll be so jam-packed. Going to sleep last night was not easy!

Oh, hey, Mickey's Three Musketeers is streaming on Netflix! I'm going to try to get my kids to watch!

You are being far too productive. I'm making applesauce today, but I've never make fruit leather, is it hard?

Fall back is my favorite day! I wish I had gotten as much done as you did yesterday, but we wound up having to go to get hubby's eyes checked and get him new glasses. Took soooo long, but we couldn't just go to Costco and get them sent out because we are cutting it too close to trip time and hubby put off the exam so long. I had to call around everywhere to find someone who would see him yesterday and then we went over to lenscrafters for same day service. It was a madhouse and their computers were running sooooo slow, I felt really bad for the people working there. It was taking 5+ minutes for a page to load on the screen. It took us almost 2 hours just to order the glasses. Granted, we need a lot of them. Hubby wanted regular glasses and sun glasses and then got just lenses put in his old glasses as a backup (and for when he is building something or working in the yard), plus I wanted prescription sunglasses for the trip, I wasn't going to splurge, but hubby told me to.

Ten days from now I'll be on a plane to Disney!

Yes , they will be up. Everything was decorated last time. WDW wastes no time , right after Halloween they start decorating. They go up almost over night.

Poly and GF will have everything up. MK will to as the MVMCP is starting this week. (Sold out) Osbourne lights are up too.

I have Spenco that a chiropractor told me about. But if it's short periods then I do the cheapo ones. I'm a pair of my spenco and a pair of my cheapos for around the room. Even walking for my coffee I'll have my spenco or sneakers. Thinking my sneakers incase I have to run screaming from a snake or alligator. Sigh why did I have to read that.

I made the mistakes or not wearing the supported shoes yesterday and boy was I paying for it last night. Feet and legs really hurt alot.
Speaking of, I better go get my sneakers on before I get in trouble again today.

DS has to go back to college. I heard him get up to use the bathroom but return to bed. Hmmmmmm Doesn't he know he is cutting into my valuable shopping time.

DH and I went to church early and then had breakfast. So now I'm ready to get moving. I guess I could fold DS laundry for him so he just has to pack it up. I guess I'll give him another hour before I decide to wake him. What does he think he is at college and no one notices that he went back to bed. Ha.
When Mom has to get up at 7 she notices when someone is in bed. Especially when she is cold and wants to go back herself.

When we went into church the temps were ok, when we came out.....Yikes it got cold!!!! Looking forward to FL temps. I sure hope they don't have an unusual cold period down there. Come on Sunshine.

13 days to go. Hubby said this morning "you know at this time in 2 weeks we will be attending services at the Shrine". I smiled.
Just the idea of no cooking and cleaning for a whole week!!!
When we went to Disney for a week with the boys I had a week of food prep before we even left. My DS21 is a very picky eater. He would not trust the Disney chefs knew what Gluten free was. Sigh.

Thanks for replying! It is our first time seeing it all decorated! We are taking our 5yo DD, 4yo DS & 2yo DD! I'm especially excited for them!!! our first night, the 11th were eating at 1900 park fare so we'll get to see GF then

I'm so excited to see them all first time too. And my DS7 and DD4 always LOVE seeing decorations. My middle child can usually take or or leave them, but I but even he will be impressed!
