***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I agree, although that was the only one I knew about when I was picking my dates so I hope they are right. I believe the wait times on the UT app are derived from people's reports, but how many people really report their wait times on the app? It loads a lot faster than MDE though, so I'm sure we will be checking it for wait times more than MDE unless we also need to know the Fastpass return time.

I don't actually own a cell phone anymore. I ditched mine when I got my iPad. I never used the phone part and the iPad data plan was significantly cheaper. Anyway, since I don't carry my iPad in the parks (I'm not one of those people Josh always pokes fun at.) I'm stuck with DS's iPod Touch. That was fine until Epcot last trip when I couldn't get anything but MDE over the Wi-Fi. I use the Touring a Plans app for wait times, return times and plans. Fortunately we were there for F&G so our plans weren't complicated but it was really irritating to have to rely totally on MDE. And it was wired how that worked but nothing else. One of the CMs said they tune the Wi-Fi specifically for that app. Not even really sure how that works.

Anyway, I'm dumping my plans to the device just in case but I'll be annoyed if I can't use TP at all.

I think I'm going hands free in the parks. I'll be risking not being able to adjust MB FP+ times if needed within the park but I just really don't like being "connected" on vacation.

I don't tend to answer emails or anything but I need my plans and notes. I use Evernote for all my Disney-related info and I wouldn't want to be without that. (And this is totally off topic but I guest blogged about Evernote yesterday - http://www.simplescrapper.com/2013/10/evernote/).

Plus I like to Tweet from the parks. It's really useful for meeting up and for scrapbooking the trip after.

Will I still get email updates if my TP crowd calendar changes? I'm beginning to wonder... I haven't received any email in months for Nov 11-17. ;/

I checked today and my days are still marked as "Tracked". I suppose technically the crowds didn't change for those days, just the whole methodology. ;-)

Anyway, I find the emails a little hit or miss. Though I checked on Monday and there were no changes. I'll check again in a week or so just to be sure.

Just found something interesting... Logged into my travel partner's MDE account (because I'm the one that set it up and is making ALL the plans :lmao:) and found an interesting FP+ glitch. On our EP day, I had been moving our FP+ all over the place, trying to figure out what our 3rd will be since there are only two we want. Somewhere in that switching mess, it assigned a second FP+ for the Land. :confused3 (Would have liked the glitch to happen with Soarin' or TT, but oh well.) I haven't checked my MDE account yet today () to see if I also have 4 FP+ for EP. Maybe I will try to change one to TT... :scratchin

There are some reports of ghost FPs - ones that are gone but are still showing up in your account. I'm not familiar with all the details since I don't have FP+ but my understanding is they only show on certain screens.

Uhhhh, I think compared to you I'm still on the rock and chisel over here ;)

Ok, so for anyone involved in the Mom's Panel saga, there's going to be an announcement this afternoon. They originally said we'd find out tomorrow but now I'm officially a wreck.

What's the saga? I'm still a newbie over here.

Since we are going mid November, Christmas shopping is on my mind. Is there really anything special you can get there that you can't find online or in the disney store?

That is right.
If you just click on My MDE under your icon photo and or just click your itinerary, you will only see the corrected FP+ choices.

The saga is the interminable wait by those of us masochistic enough to apply for next year's panel. Punctuated this year by a website glitch on Monday that gave some people a sneak peek at whether they made it (or not) to the next round.

It's a three-round process over a month or so. Rumor has it there are over 10k applicants. They take about 20. This first cut probably goes down to a couple hundred so it's pretty brutal.

I'm going to look for classic cartoons in some of the shops. I swear I saw a box set of the classic Mickey cartoons a couple years ago. The closest I've found elsewhere are on Disney's movie club site and they are called Have A Laugh or something. They are revamped though (shortened and music changes) according to reviews. I'm a purist. I prefer the originals.

There's a ball cap my hubby saw last time as well that he hesitated on and thought he could find elsewhere so I will have my eyes open for it.

We actually don't own much Disney licensed anything. Just movies, a couple stuffed animals and a pair of PJs each. I did buy the kids matching shirts for the trip at a Walmart though. Very out of the norm. I just wanted to have a bit of extra whimsy :)

We don't typically do a lot of disney merch. either. Just thought I my find some niece/nephew gifts, but not going to ship home stuff I can buy at home anyway;) thanks! The cartoons sound really neat!

I just need to remember where I saw those now...... ;)

This "Pensy" girl here NEVER messes with those "Jersey Girls"...I SO wouldn't survive. ;)
I think there's something in the air around here right now, everyone's behavior seems "off" to me. Anyone else notice anything? I mean in your own lives, not just our DIS-lives. LOL! :confused3:

Totally noticing it. Real world and online world.

It's knickers-in-a-knot month.
