**Official** November 2011

Texas invades Disney World Nov. 18th - 27th. :yay: It is so far away. :scared1: I hope to see some park hours in about 3 weeks. That will help with the planning. I won't be able to set ADRs until May 22nd. Guess I will just continue to surf the boards and watch re-run of Samanta Brown at Disney... :happytv:

We will be there for a belated anniversary trip 11/10-11/19! We are staying our first 3 nights at POP and our last 6 nights at POFQ

We are booked for November 4 through 13 at Pop.

We will be celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary and plan on a vow renewal while there.

What is weather like? We are normally Sept/Oct guests.

Who else is joining us?

Well...I just got a PIN for 35% off, so we're changing weeks AND resorts! YAY!!

Nov 13 - 19 (POFQ)

HI! I'm new to the baords and sorry if this has been discussed before. I have read several posts saying they received their PIN for a % off. Is there somewhere you sign up to receive this PIN? thanks!

Hello November peeps! We'll be there Nov 25-Dec 3 :cool1: This is a trip of many firsts for us. We're brand new DVC owners at Kidani and this will be our first stay at our new "home" It'll be our first stay in a deluxe :dance3: First time seeing the Christmas decorations :santa: First time there with my sister's family :grouphug: Needless to say we're all excited!! :woohoo:

We'll have a band of boys (ages 3, 5, and 6)...it's our first time at WDW, and wanted to do character dining....which restaurants do you recommend? Where do I find out which characters are at what restaurants? Thanks for your help! :)

Which characters do you want to see? How long are you going for? I have a 6 & almost 3 year old and they LOVE Tusker House breakfast with Donald in Animal Kingdom. Also big on the 3 year old's list is Oso & Manny, so we do a meal at Hollywood & Vine's Play & Dine in Hollywood Studios ... not many people's favorite FOOD in the world, but the character interaction is great!

I've found the Disney Dining Reservations pages to be helpful when trying to figure out which characters are at what meals ... but I bet a more seasoned veteran on here can give you a link or something :-)

We love Chef Mickey's but are thinking about Tusker House (Animal Kingdom) or Cape May (since we're staying at the Beach Club) for a character meal on our next trip. Here's a link to a page on the allears website that shows all the character meals: http://allears.net/din/cbchar.htm

C'mon FD. We do so enjoy our Thanksgiving trips. Hopefully by then work will be back to normal.

So happy I found this thread! We're staying at Coronado Springs Resort Nov. 20-26! Our 3rd year in a row with our son @ WDW, celebrating Thanksgiving and hubby's birthday:goodvibes

We usually go the first week of Nov., but I saw its listed as a blackout date, so we will be there somewhere around then. Waiting to book until I can maybe find a PIN. Am I crazy to hope for one?

We are headed back to WDW! Planning on Nov 11-15 tentatively at the moment :) The kids have requested no Christmas gifts and a trip back to the world instead! We will be staying at the Contemporary or AKL :) Crossing my fingers for a PIN soon! Excited to join ya'll !

It's offical! We will be there Nov 9 - Nov 12 at Old Key West :cool1:

We may go to Disney Nov 22-26 for my son's 9th birthday on Nov 24th. I have not booked yet. We did this in 2010 but stayed off site. It was crowded but the weather was nice and decorations were up. We loved the thanksgiving buffet at the Caribe Royale.

Does anyone know if Disney historically offers discounts for thanksgiving time? I can't recall from last year. All I remember is that about 4 weeks prior to our trip prices dropped a lot for off-site locations. Right now, the price of the value resorts is what we can afford but we really want a moderate or possibly swan/dolphin.

Also, I see more EMH's have been added to April, June, months - is this new? We love EMH's AM for MK. Last thanksgiving week (Tues-Fri) we would have only had hit one AM EMH at MK Thursday morning so that (and suite and pool with slide) was a factor in us going with an off-site hotel.

Count us in for November 7-18, 2011 staying at All Star Music  Soooooo excited!!! Disney trips NEVER get old!

We will be there 11/20 to 11/26!!!! Sooooo looking forward to spending the Thanksgiving holiday in the World! Now just patiently waiting for park hours to be posted and ability to book my ADR's....
