OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2010 THREAD - Let the countdown begin!

Thanks! I didn't realize they had released the dates yet. I haven't been but I've heard great things, especially about the chalk drawings that are done.

I'm planning on a Dis meet at some point in my trip! Already prewarned my mom about the possibility of meeting my invisible friends! :rotfl:

Sounds like a fun idea to meet "other" Disney Nuts like myself LOL :cool1:

Booked a 1Bdr villa at AKL-Kidani for 5 of us. Planning on going to MVMCP. Our date for ressies is May 17, already have restaurants picked out. The only thing that could make this trip better would be a discount code.

Adults only 3 night trip hopefully staying at the beach club Nov 17-20.. Leaving my kids home with their Nana- accomplished by bribing my son that I will book another trip for Aug 2011 while onsite.... Basically used that to bribe my husband into the trip as well w/ potential for bounce back offer :-)

Waiting to book until Holiday shows/schedule are announced or we get to the 180 point, whichever comes first... It's making me NUTS, i am obsessively planning each day/night on last years schedule of events :)

I just called and modified my ressies from a standard room to a 1 Bdrm Villa since my son and daughter in law have decided to come with us to the Happiest Place on Earth :banana:Having found out the discount on Villas was 45%, it was a no brainer now that the four of us are going :thumbsup2

Nov 1- 7th for jersey week! AKV 1 bd and maybe 2 nights at BLT

Right now we are booked at AKV Kidani for Nov. 25-28, and will be adding Nov 28-Dec 5th at POFQ when some good deals come around! So 10 nights in Disney! Can't wait to see the Osbourne Lights and go to MVMCP!

We are doing a "do-over" trip of sorts to cover all the things we missed on our first trip in fall of 2009.

Booked at the WL from Nov. 15 to Nov. 22nd. :) Can't wait to enjoy Disney without that sweltering heat! Think it will be a more "magical"experience - not that the first one wasn't great!

We are booked for Nov 20 - 26th at the Grand Floridian on the Deluxe Dining Plan! This is our first Thanksgiving trip, first time staying at the GF and first time on Deluxe Dining and trying mostly all adult food!

:mickeyjum Its kinda our smaller version of our dream trip at a busier time! :mickeyjum

We're heading down 11/10 - 11/17 for a 2-Family Grand Gathering at the Treehouse Villas (got the 20/30/40 discount PIN through year end). I didn't realize that the Food and Wine Festival would still be going on - and then we can enjoy the Christmas decorations! How awesome is that???? Plus the Festival of the Master at Downtown Disney (right across the water from our resort)!!! We spent Spring Break in '09 enjoying the flowers - next we'll need to come down during Star Wars Weekend - maybe summer 2011! :rotfl2: Start Planning eh?

Just counting down the days until ADR's!!!! What to pack ...what to pack....

Fiancee agreed to take me before the year is over, and I have my heart set on November. Colder weather and smaller crowds are what I'm aiming for. I'll keep you all posted once we book officially. :thumbsup2

We are booked for Nov 20 - 26th at the Grand Floridian on the Deluxe Dining Plan!

Going with family Nov 22 through Nov 29 staying at BLT

We will be there Nov 18-28. We are staying at Poly.

We'll be at BLT 11/19-11/27. We are suprising the kids with a Thanksgiving trip,

Px4, carver36, babydovesx2, and lijhmom

we are all basically going the same days and in the same circle of resorts :cool1:

My family and I are going Friday, Nov 19 (1st night at POP) thru Sunday the 28th at BLT

it is our first Thanksgiving trip and trip home to DVC too...

maybe one night we can all meet up to watch the EWP on the lagoon :thumbsup2

Happy Planning!

We're planning to go the week before Thanksgiving as my kids have half days that week so they won't miss any big tests or anything at school! Probably the 13th-21st, depending on airfare cost-Gonna book as soon as we get out tax return!
Our in-laws are coming with us too...for their very 1st trip to WDW!!!!

We have a baby on the way (Due in May), so we were planning for our first Cruise, cause we thought it would be easier, but its more then we are willing to spend at this time.....so we talked to our 6 year old and agreed to take another trip to Disney World....All Star Music here we come!

What are your dates in November? Let me know if you would like to use our FREE fridge at the AsMu. You can click on the link in my signature for more information...available dates are on page #1, post #1.

Hi everyone! Since we arrive the last day of October, I thought I would post on this thread.

I am taking a 7 night Caribbean cruise October 24-31 for my 40th Birthday. So far I have 10 friends joining me on the cruise and we are still figuring out who will stay after and play at WDW with me.

Due to $$$ we will likely be at one of the Value Resorts, which is fine by me as long as I am at Disney World. Crossing my fingers that Disney will offer free dining again this year for November!

We will disembark the ship at 8:00am, pick up the rental car and drive to Orlando, take a nap, put on our costumes and go to MNSSHP on Halloween. I will have a few Disney virgins with me so it should be extra fun!

This countdown thing is sort of bittersweet: happy to be heading for Disney but sad to be turning 40!

Gina

After 12 years of visiting WDW I FINALLY got my 1st ever PIN code!! So, I booked October 31 - November 3 at the Contemporary with the 40% off code. My friends that are playing at WDW with me are flying home November 3 but I am pondering staying thru the 7th, but would down grade to a value or moderate if staying solo.

I really wanted the Poly but it was $300 more than the Contemporary and since most of my friends are 1st timers and have limited time, how much will we really be at the resort? I just thought that a monorail resort would be nice. I wonder if they will do MNSSHP on November 1??? If not we will join the masses and attend on Halloween.

We are booked at the All Star Music from November 10 - 16 - first time staying on-site and very excited. I was lucky enough to get a PIN for 20% off.:cool1:

Glad to see I'm not the only crazy one to be planning already for a November vacation! We are booked at POR-FQ. Received a 25/35/45 PIN!! Now just hoping for decent airfare.

We have a Wonder cruise (our first) Nov. 11-14 and then to WDW until Nov. 19th. This will be our first time "Home" to BLT!! This is my 3rd trip, but the first one I have to plan.
It will be me, DH, DD11, DD8 and DS5. We can't wait! I have never done any ADRs or used the crowd calendar. My 1st trip was a gift for just DH and me, 2nd trip was part of a grand gathering that someone took care of things. So I'm getting lots of great info here!

I posted earlier that we were unsure of the dates - ended up booking November 9-16 at WL. Still trying for a PIN - the extra $ it will save more than pays for the flights down!
