OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2010 THREAD - Let the countdown begin!

Going with fam(DH and DSx2) and in-laws over Thanksgiving and celebrating my Mother-in-law's 60th bday and of course Thanksgiving. Hoping to stay at the BCV but no reservations yet.

planning on going Thanksgiving week. Will we see any Christmas Decorations, when do they go up officially? and what is the weather like? We normally go in August just wanted to compare. I am sure the crowds are crazy but that won't really bother us as we are "planning" on doing more relaxing and having more downtime this time around and maybe visit some other resorts we will never get to stay at!!

Any other info is welcome!!

Going with family Nov 22 through Nov 29 staying at BLT cant wait for MVMC and thanksgiving in the park was there the first year it opened for thanksgivivng in 1971

The decoractions begin going up the day after Halloween! By thanksgiving week they are all up (from my understanding - this will be my first trip this time of year too). Not too sure about the rest of your questions - hope that helps a bit!

We will be there Nov 18-28. We are staying at Poly. Since they have added a MK view to CL it will be our first time staying CL. We can't wait!

Nov 15-21!! DS 1st trip (he will be 22 months). My parents are also coming with us. We are staying in a family suite at ASMU!

I'm so excited!!!

I talked with my sister about maybe going in November again this year. We're also going with my cousin and her husband and little boy in May 2011. So I didn't know if she'd buy into it. But I mentioned it anyway.
Well yesterday, in the car, I mentioned to my sister if we were going to D.C. in May (small trip). She said "I don't think so if we're going to try to go to WDW in November."
I'm so excited!!!!
Now I have to wait on a PIN code or when the discounts come out. My mom got a PIN code, but it's through June 12th. Hopefully she'll get another one...
For the past 2 years, we've gone the 3rd week in November. I think I want to try the week after Thanksgiving this time. So that would make our dates Nov. 27- Dec. 4. I've been the first week of December in 2007, and had a blast.
Hopefully, we do get to go!!!

The Festival of Masters is November 12 to the 14th in Downtown Disney....have never been to that either.....is it good? I am sure we will run into each other someplace that week

Thanks! I didn't realize they had released the dates yet. I haven't been but I've heard great things, especially about the chalk drawings that are done.

I'm planning on a Dis meet at some point in my trip! Already prewarned my mom about the possibility of meeting my invisible friends!
