**Official MVMCP, 2010!** Guest list, tips and info.

For those of you who have been before, do they have places where you can have your picture made with the characters dressed up for Christmas? :confused3
I haven't gone to MVMCP before, but we went the 1st week in January, and the characters were wearing Christmas type clothes, or maybe they were just winter. These were at the Animal Kingdom.

Thanks. I will have to see if Disney can print up the Christmas cards for us while we are there. We are coming home on the 18th, so that wouldn't give us much time to order cards from another source.
When I look at that picture I am surprised I don't look exhausted. This was our first day there and we had left at 1 pm the previous day from PA, and I drove through the night, took a nap for about an hour just before Daytona, checked into our hotel, then drove to the Animal Kingdom. We are flying this time, so I will probably look even better, just a bit older.

I decided to do Christmas cards with a picture last year at the last minute. I went to Walgreens and had them printed out in less than 30 minutes. There was a coupon in the paper and I managed to get 50 cards and envelopes for $20. So I just wanted to give you an option in case you can't get them done at Disney.

We're going to our 1st MVMCP on November 16th! I'll probably buy our tickets in the next few weeks. We'll be eating an early dinner at LTT so we don't miss the Castle Lighting Ceremony.

We'll be there on November 16th too. It's our second MVMCP and we love it! Also having dinner at LTT - maybe we'll see you there!

HO HO HO! :santa:

I see we arrive at WDW at the same time, where are you staying? We'll be at BLT the 13th - 20th. What time is your ADR at LTT? We'll be there at 4:10pm so we'll finish in time to see the Castle Lighting and for the start of the Party. :santa:

I'm sad........bought my tickets online and have to get them at "will call", so I have nothing in my hands to look at beside a piece of paper with the info on it! On top of that, only time that I could get for dinner at Tonys Town Square was 6:35pm, prime time to be enjoying the park and be ready for the start of the party! So, I cancelled it and will plan on a CS meal that evening. But on a happy note, I decided that Kona Cafe was more enticeing than Tonys so I got a great ADR there on the last night of my trip :)

Bummer about the tickets. :sad1:

We did the same thing with dinner before the party. We decided a CS would be the way to go! We're having lunch at Teppan Edo that day and plan to head over to the MK early - probably around 4ish. I want to make sure we're there when the party starts!!! :dance3:

Good choice with Kona. I'm sure the meal will be much better than Tony's. :thumbsup2

What time do they usually have the Castle Lighting Ceremony? Our only day a MK is the night of MVMCP. I was planning on getting there for 4pm.

For us Belinda and I are looking forward to MVMCP.We have benn to a MVMCP once a year sometimes twice since 1991.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

Great minds think alike - our ADR at LTT is 4:10 also; with the same thought...making the Castle lighting with time to spare (hopefully!).
We have a timeshare at Orange Lake, so we are staying there. We've never stayed on Disney property - maybe someday! We love OL, but I'd like to stay on property just once! princess:

I read somewhere that the Castle lighting is at 6:30 each night. Is that right?:confused3

crap! My ADR for the night of the Christmas party is 5:45 at Crystal Palace.. ughhhh the only other open time I can get right now is 3:25 :(

I would take the 3:25. We've never actually been seated at our ADR time there. I think we've eaten there 5 times, and every time it has been at least 20 min. past our ADR when we are seated. That would give you lots of time to eat and see the characters before the party starts. Then you'll have room for hot chocolate and cookies later! :goodvibes
