I ordered my MNSSHP tickets online and when I called to ask a question about it I was told that we could not go into the park until 7 pm unless we had a regular ticket to the Magic Kingdom for the day as well as the halloween tickets. I read quite a few times on here and other sights that people were getting in at 4pm. Does anyone have any info or tips about this? Thanks a million!

Although I have an AP so I didn't need to be concerned about the "time" I arrived at MK - when I got there on 9/30 at approx 4:10 pm, all it took to get into the park was my MNSSHP ticket. As soon as I got thru the turnstile, CM's were waiting with the wristbands. HTHs! :)

Getting in a 4:00p is unofficial and an unwritten perk. Not all the CMs on the phone know about it so they'll tell you the official policy.

They've been doing it since 2001 and have done it again this year. :thumbsup2

We also saw MANY people with wristbands in the parks right after 4PM on Sept 28th. By 7:30, we didn't see anyone without bands. The CMs did an excellent job clearing out the parks.

THANK YOU!!!!! I was really worried there for a minute but you guys really made me feel better. I can not wait to go. I think I am more excited than my kids. Did everyone love the Halloween Party this year?

That's what we're going to do! I was thinking about changing before dinner so we would have more time at the MK, but then I thought, do I really want to take the chance that I would get a chocolate something dropped in my lap?

Love the costumes, by the way...

We'll be at Kona for 5:00 ADR on the 16th. So if you see a Capt. Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swan, Peter Pan & Pocahontas emerging from the Poly bathrooms, it us!!!:wave2:

We went on the 28th, and my only regret was I didn't buy tickets for the 30th also. My kids (4 and 1) fell asleep around 9:45, so we left "early" and didn't even make it into Tomorrowland. Any little "neat" things over there we missed?

We went to the October 4th MNSSHP. It didn't rain and we got some great photopass pics.

Also, they are most definitely letting people in at 4 and they give you a wristband right after you go through the turnstiles.

Has anyone seen any adults dressed up? We're going to all dress up this year. We've never been to MNSSHP, but we're so excited. DS4 wants us to dress up with him, so we're going to be a pirate family! Got our costumes yesterday. Out of seven years, I've never seen hubby dress up once for Halloween, so we'll see if he goes through with it. I hope there will be lots of other adults dressed too. So excited, three days left before we leave.

I've seen several thread about getting into the park early. My question is, can we get into the park at 4:00 in costume or will we have to change into our costumes closer to the actual event time?

There were a lot of adults dressed up at MNSSHP on Oct 4th. And a TON of people/families were dressed as pirates.

Yes, you can get in at 4pm IN costume (or not in costume).

lol! Thank you. I had a feeling there were going to be some pirates there! So I guess we'll fit right in!

We went to the October 4 party and it did not rain. I am writing my report now and will post it in a few days. It was a great party - just not enough time to do everything.

I went to the party on 10/5. It was wet but fun. I dressed as Minnie Mouse. Most of the adults weren't in costume but some were. I especially liked the biker couple and Fred Flintstone with Betty Rubble (they told everyone there was a secret story there wink wink). I think my favorite was the women in the bathrobe with her hair wrapped in a towel--perfect for the weather. And yes, there were lots and lots of pirates. I'm really glad I was in costume. I think it made it much more fun.

Our first full day at Disney will be Nov 2. We're planning to go to MK and was wondering if kids dress in costumes during the day or is it just for the MNSSHParty in the evening.
We're not going to the Party because we've got tickets for MVMChristmasParty on the 12th.

We were at the party on the 28th and had a BLAST! As the question "Should adults dress up?"...Absolutely!!! Our family did a 50's theme (Me, DH, DD3, and DS1.) We had GUESTS coming up to us asking us to take our picture! Waiting in line to get our picture taken with Mickey we had a group of people in the back cheering for us. It was fun!
