We went to MNSSHP on Oct 14th and 18th in costume and had a BLAST!! We also went on the 16th in matching t-shirts. On the 16th, we saw both parades and the fireworks. We also got some trick or treating in. I was kinda disappointed in the candy. We went all through Toon Town and only had 1/4 bag of candy. But a CM gave us a bag full to the top on the 18th and that more than made up for it.

Did anyone see us??

We were there on the 18th and saw you several times! The last was in Fantasyland near the carousel late in the evening. I was sitting on a bench and you were posing for pics with other guests...you were pretty popular, had a line of folks waiting to get a picture with you. Those were incredible costumes!

Thank you so much to those who answered my question. We knew the party was sold out that night so we were freaking out a bit on what my aunt-in-law should do. We figured since it was just changing the type of ticket it should be ok, because like it was said, we aren't trying to purchase another separate ticket. Since I have the tickets, I'll make sure to go to do that as soon as possible. We're getting to town late on Saturday night, and we plan to hit Downtown Disney on Sunday so we'll go to Guest Relations there!

Thanks again!

DH took a pict. with this friendly ghost at LTT. She was so petite!

You might have seen our stroller! It had orange lights all around it. The CM's at the candy station in Liberty Square would call out "here comes the party stroller!" when we would walk by.

Had to send out a :cool1: and :woohoo: . We are leaving for WDW tomorrow and we can't wait. MNSSHP after dinner at Ohana's (table of 20) on Sunday night. I'll be dressed as Mary Poppins (jolly holiday costume), DH as Merlin, DD Minnie, DD Lilo and DS cars pit crew, with D-Gma witch, say "Hi" if you see us.

I bought small flashlights as I heard it gets dark on MS and those wire/folding pumpkin treat bags. Oh, and some glow necklaces. So, I think we are all set to have lots of fun.

Will report when we return with photos...

Great pics! I love the stroller idea!

We got our event cd in the mail the other day and can I just tell you that we're obsessed with it? LOL HOLY COW...We haven't stopped listening to it and it prompted us to bring out the videos we took to remind us. Although it rained, rained and rained some more (we were among those poor unfortunate souls who got rained on A LOT on the 14th of September), we are reliving the fond memories of the night.

The really ironic thing is that every weekend here in NJ this month has been GORGEOUS. Today...the day we did BOO and the ZOO in Philly...it rained...it was like deja vu! At least this time, we had rain gear with us and worked through all the trick or treating spots. AND, LOL because it was raining, they were handing the candy out in handfuls. So, albeit a bit wet (AGAIN), we still had fun!

Hi,
Does anyone have pictures from the first parade on Oct 30th? We waited until the second parade and it was delayed, limited and raining. I didn't want to risk my camera so I don't have any pictures. Does anyone have any they would be willing to share? These will only be used in our personal scrapbook album. Please PM me.
Thanks,

Hey, anyone have reports on the crowd level at the Nov 2 party??

I haven't heard any reviews at all.

We were there on the 30th as well....saw the parade and REALLY wanted to take pix as I scrapbook as well, but was afraid to since it was misting the rain, and could rain harder at any minute since I have a new camera! So, if you get any would you let me know as well....THANKS!!!!:goodvibes

Hey, anyone have reports on the crowd level at the Nov 2 party??

I haven't heard any reviews at all.

The Nov 2 party was sold out. The crowds didn't feel huge to us (but keep in mind our other trips were in the middle of July, and right after Christmas). We didn't do many rides but walked on every one of them (Haunted Mansion, Buzz, Laugh Floor, PhilarMagic, Dumbo...)

It was our first MNSSHP and while it was fun, I don't think we'll try it again. The fireworks were great, parade was just OK. The candy sucked. We got about 1/4th of a bag each, mostly stale chocolate wrapped in halloween foil. Some broken lollipops and a couple Smartie rolls too. Good thing we didn't come for the candy :rolleyes1 Our main goal was to get a great spot for Hallowishes and we did it, so I'm glad we tried it once !

We went on OCT 31 - was very disappointed that event T-shirts in my size were sold out, according to the CM several nights prior. The CM said they didn't want to overstock that particular size - what a joke! They should permit ticket holders to special order such products if they cant stock them properly!

And boy oh boy they sure were selfish this year - at almost every stop one piece of candy per sack. Finally the wife said something and a CM went and filled one of our bags to the brim; we then stopped going and started riding. LOL! They did fill our bags as we exited with about 4-5 packs each of a large bag of herseys candies.

Weve went the last 4 years now, the kids love it so Im sure we will be back to try again next year.

We did the 11/2 party as well- I was surprised to see it was sold out when we entered the park at 4:30pm. We noticed a lot of people, but we didn't have a problem getting a great place for the parade or fireworks. We loved them both!

We didn't do very many rides- there were a few we saw with pretty long wait times. Space Mtn was 30 mins at about 10:15, and Peter Pan was 40 mins at 10pm. Those were longer lines than we saw during regular hours that week- needless to say, we didn't bother waiting. We did Buzz at about 10:15 with no waiting, and PotC, Splash, BTMRR, and HM were walkons as well.

We got LOTS of candy- good stuff, too! There were one or two stations early on that only gave out 2 pieces or so, but DD was getting handfuls later in the evening. As we left the park, the CMs at the exits told us that noone should leave with an empty bag- and gave us about 25 full sized bags of Kissables!! DD inventoried all her loot when we got back to the resort, and she had gummy bears, Starburst, Butterfingers, Tootsie Rolls, lollipops, Laffy Taffy, Bottle Caps, etc, etc, etc. She was really happy with her haul.
