We went on 10/12 and had a wonderful time! We entered around 5:00, just with the MNSSHP tickets. It was beautiful weather, although on the hot side, so I was very glad we didn't wear heavy costumes.

One of the neatest things was we dropped in to LTT on a whim, and got in for dinner after only a short wait. Unfortunately I left my camera back at the hotel (grrrrrrrrr) so no pics of us all with the characters. We enjoyed it anyway.

Had a front row seat for the parade, all the way over by where it starts - we were trying to make it to Splash Mountain but got caught, and liked seeing the parade from there. The fireworks were fantastic. We kept DD8 and DD9 up later than last year, staying for a while after the fireworks. Things were definitely more crowded than our visit last year, maybe because it was a Friday?

Overall, a fun, fun, fun time. All of you who are still to go -- have a wonderful time, and thanks for all of your comments on this thread.

We've gone ahead and bought our tix.......but not for the 30th, as we'd originally planned. Upon hearing those days around that one are nearing capacity (and the 31st is sold out), we opted for the last night of the celebration, which is Nov 2. I wonder how that night's gonna be?....

We'll see you there! We decided it would probably be the least crowded party all week (I hope, I hope). Our other choices were the 28th, 30th, or 31st. We knew the 31st would sell out, and probably the 30th, too. We were going to do the 28th until we heard about the 11/2 party.

WOOHOO! We won't be alone, and I'm hoping it won't be crowded! DD will be in her Aurora dress, DS will be in his Jedi outfit, I'll be wearing my Pau Gasol Jersey (Memphis Grizzlies), and DW hasn't decided yet. The kids will definitely be taking an afternoon break that day, so they won't be dragging tired that night. We'll be at WDW from 10/27 to 11/4....and we're SO counting down the hours!

We went to MNSSHP on Oct 14th and 18th in costume and had a BLAST!! We also went on the 16th in matching t-shirts. On the 16th, we saw both parades and the fireworks. We also got some trick or treating in. I was kinda disappointed in the candy. We went all through Toon Town and only had 1/4 bag of candy. But a CM gave us a bag full to the top on the 18th and that more than made up for it.

Did anyone see us??

We went on Tuesday, Oct. 16th and had a great time! I just absolutley loved the Boo-To-You parade. :cheer2: But during Hallowishes, I noticed that no one flew out of the castle. I thought a witch was so supposed to fly out....:confused3

This was my first party, and the only souvie I was looking for was one of those orange MNSSHP t-shirts. But a Cast Member told me they had sold out of those a few days prior. :sad1: I was sooo bummed about this! But I have started collecting pins, so I bought the MNSSHP pin which was cool.

We did some of the photo ops including the Haunted Mansion one, (this one was so cool!)

The witch used to fly out when the fireworks were the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks. She has not flown since they changed the fireworks to Hallowishes, unfortunately.

What is everyone going to be dressed as?? Will you be displaying your DIS name? Do you want to be recognized? If so post what you'll be wearing here and if we see you we'll be sure to say HI :flower3: !!!
We are going to be- Belle (in the Blue Dress)-me Captin Jack- DH Buzz-DS Tinkerbell-DD- We are all getting SO excited- 9 more days!!!!! :woohoo: Hope to see you all there!!!

And Thanks to Trish for organizing all the great info here for all of us!!

We were also there on the 16th. I didn't take many photos of us - it was too dark and we were crazy buzy running around. We happened to see the parade twice, and got great spots for both the Villians mix & mingle and Hallowishes.

Other than that, although we did get a lot of candy between the 4 of us, many of the trick-or-treat stations ran out before closing. We waited to do most of the trick-or-treating until the end, and when we showed up they had either just closed the lines or had just run out of candy. We also did not see anyone handing out candy at the exits.

We spent a lot of time going on the rides, because that's what the kids wanted to do. We didn't stop to see any characters, but did hit some photo spots. I'll post them once I get my photo CD in the mail.

Main Street was jam packed when we arrived at 6:30, so we headed over to Adventureland and Frontierland. There was no waits for rides, but long lines for candy & the characters. We never made it to Toontown. The crowds were keeping us away.

That's it for now...

We'll be there on 11/2. I will be the Queen of Hearts, DH will be a playing card (King of Hearts) and DDs will be a devil and a frankenstein-looking ghouly girl--no more Disney costumes for them :-(

We'll look for ya!

We're going to the party on Halloween night, my DH and I are not dressing up, but my stepson is going to be Capt. Jack Sparrow. Can't wait!

I have a question, and I'm hoping that someone can help me out. My DH's aunt and uncle bought 2 adult tickets and a child ticket because they were going to take a niece of theirs to the party. Now that niece is not going, so they want to take their adult son, hopefully. They asked me and I'm not sure if they can do this or not, and no, I'm not talking about having their son go in using the child ticket. They wanted to know if the child ticket they got can be exchanged and the difference paid for an adult ticket. I told them I wasn't sure but I would try to ask and find out if anyone knew.

Thank you! I really was surprised, I had no clue he was going to propose to me! I love Belle's reaction, and everyone laughs at Aurora and her need to look at the camera (we had several pictures of him proposing and right after and she's looking at the camera in every single one of them!)

Halloween Night is sold out, with That said the ticket is already bought and accounted for, so to upgrade it you would think should be OK. Since you are not truly adding another person, you are just changing the age of the person.
I would call Disney and ask, they should be able to tell you. I know you can change a regular park ticket from child to adult I just don't know if they allow the Hard Ticket Events to be changed.
I hope they allow you to do it since they can't get anymore tickets I know it will be disappointing, we are looking for a childs ticket and we are going crazy.

I ordered an adult & child tic and need to change the child to an adult. I called Disney ticketing and they said for me to just go to Guest Services when I get there and they'll do the exchange for me. So apparently it's not a big deal.

Add us to the 11/2 party. I'm with everyone else, I hope and hope :scared: that it's not crowed. Not sure what we are wearing. DH probably won't wear a costume. DS might wear a Halloween shirt. I might wear a shirt I made with my preschoolers that has a spider and pumpkin handprint design. My little ones looked so cute:goodvibes in the shirts today when we went to a pumpkin patch. Can't wait to get to WDW, only 8 more days till CSR.

Wow!! We went to this party two Fridays ago and what an awesome time we had. We started our time at the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner and then basically walked on any of the rides we were interested in. We had planned on visiting the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and everything on our list was accomplished in a few hours on Friday night. What an awesome way to go to the parks. Also, the temperature is perfect at night instead of melting during the day. The only downside is the lines for the character autographs seemed to be especially long. However, the candy was quite plentiful. We came home with a bag for each of us (which they provided) and each bag was about 4x8x8 and completely filled with candy. I don't thing we even hit all the spots. The parade was a lot of fun. One thing we did was ride the rides while people were watching the start of the parade and then walked to the end of the parade route and still got to catch the parade.

Enjoy it for all you coming up!!

I was there on Oct 14 and I am pretty sure I saw you!! Weren't you all outside the Haunted Mansion toward the end of the night? OMGOSH I thought you were all cast members!! :rotfl:

I agree the Toontown candy was not too great, but at the end of the party I was standing outside of the HM w/ my 2 sleeping kids int he stroller, waiting for dh, and the cast members filled up my four bags to the top. Toward the end of the night the rides were walk on which was great. Fantasyland was a madhouse though IMO, earlier. We watched the parade in front of the candy store in Frontierland and had great seats but I am wishing that I was at or near the castle so that I could have seen what was going ON at the castle at the same time as the parade. We never made it to Adventureland and now I am kicking myself!!

The fireworks were amazing, and now I am ticked at myself for not purchasing the event party cd music. I want one now, but refuse to pay the outlandish prices some of the people online are selling them for. And WDW merchandising will take 20 biz days to deliver one to me! :scared:

I went last night it was SOOOOOO much fun!!!! It is totally worth going it was my first MNSSHP. I have no complaints other than it was nasty hot but whatever! I have videos from it so if you're curious to see you can check them out at...
