Hi All!
Fairly new to the DIS boards, but have been using the forums to plan 1st ever Disney Cruise in celebration of my DM's 60th birthday!

Our flight home is a full 32 hours after we have to disembark the ship, so I thought why waste a full day hanging out at an airport hotel when the WDW resorts are a Magical Express away? So I booked CSR for the night. Of course, I didn't tell DM this. Seemed like a nice surprise.

So then I thought, hmmm, since we're already going to be on property, and I've always wanted to go... why not go to MNSSHP??!! So I bought tickets for the October 28 party! Of course, I didn't tell DM this. Seemed like a nice surprise.

So we'll be at MK promptly at 4 p.m. I as Belle (in blue dress), DM as a Mouseketeer (though she doesn't know it yet).

What a wonderful suprise! Hope you guys have a great time and welcome to the boards..

Oct 17th for me- it's also our 23rd wedding anniversary that day!

We just returned - attended MNSSHP on Sept. 18 - great fun but was a LONG night so my best advice for those that are attending - rest up on the day of the party.
AND -- they are letting party goers in at 4pm. There are two entrances at that point, one for the party and one for regular park attendants - you will get a wrist band. We did notice that some people who did not have wrist bands were still there watching the parades etc. Not sure if they thought they were being sneaky or if they were just overlooked.

We, well DD3, finally decided what we are all going as. She will be Jessie and her daddy is Woody. Then I said, Can I be Little Bo Peep since she is woody's girlfriend? She said, No, You have to wear a poodle skirt! Not sure where that came from but I'll be making one to wear! Getting excited!!

I can't believe it's coming up so quickly!! Less than three weeks to go for us!!

With two more costume changes, we finally have all our costumes ready and decisions are now final!! We cannot wait to go trick-or-treating!

Oooh, update on me on the 31st . DD (6) is going as either Tinker Bell or Silvermist, and DS (9) is going as a Ghostbuster!

We still have tix for November 1, but if the shuttle launch goes ahead as planned we won't be using them!

DD12 and I are going the 29th as well. If you see a girl with a bee looking shirt and a bee atenna thing on her head, as well as a grown woman dressed up in a Twister game, it is us.
