"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help. By selling out, I meant for party and what the max capacity was for that? Guessing that probably either Thursday or Friday ( Dec 17th and 18th ) would both sell out so, if I decide to go on Friday, chances are it would be just as crowded as Thursday.

Disney doesn't say how many tickets they sell for the parties, but it's a pretty safe assumption that both the 17th and 18th will sell out.

We have park hoppers and tickets for everyday of our trip. Can I use our normal fastpasses in the AM of our party day and make 3 more for the afternoon (4-7pm) that go with our MVMCP tickets?

We are probably going to MK in the AM for just a little bit.

It is my understanding that if you buy your party tickets on a separate MDE account then you can but only at the 30 day mark.
But if your tickets are bought on the same MDE then you cannot

The Halloween party got this sisters from the movie hocus-pocus I wonder if anything we will get something new for the Christmas party what do you guys want to see this year?

I'm confused if you have separate MDE's then how is it tied to you magic band?
If you have Christmas Party tickets on a separate MDE that doesn't have a resort reservation, just those tickets, you will not have magic bands for the party tickets.

If you have magic bands from a previous trip, you may be able to have them taken off the original MDE and placed on the new one with party tickets. Again, I am not 100% sure that you would be able to transfer the magic bands and if it can be done, how the heck to go about doing it. You could also buy new magic bands on disneystore.com.

That seems like it would be quite a hassle to put the party tickets on magic bands. You could just use the party tickets at the FP+ returns, just scan them like you would the magic band.

This would probably be your best option if you want to take advantage of getting FP+ on your party tickets and park tickets. Like PP mentioned, you would have to wait until 30 days out to reserve FP on the party tickets because it would not be tied into a resort stay.

If someone else has more to add, please do so.

I never came back here with our dates...we decided to go ahead and stick with 12/17 since my son wants to be there on his birthday. So you can add us to the list! :) Thanks!! Our tickets came in the mail last week. SO exciting!! How will we make it through 6 more months?!?!

So, if my DD( 20 ) just bought paper party tickets, we could use 3 FP on those ( 30 days before ) and still have the 3 for our day on our Magic Bands? Sounds like the way to go I would think-

As long as the party tickets are on a different MDE account, yes.

The tickets I got are hard plastic--the size and feel of a credit card--and each has a character (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, or Donald) printed on it on a green background. They're not Christmas-y at all, but still very cute! If I can figure out how to post pics here, I'll post them later.

Question....I bought 3 tickets for MVMCP and my email confirmation says I should print the tickets. There is no link that takes me to anything to print. They ARE showing up in MDE though. I called and the CM said I should be fine because they will be linked to my MB and that I can get my party wristbands using my MB. Anyone else have this experience? (Or @CampbellzSoup) I don't want to get there the day of my party and have them tell us we can't get in because I don't have a paper ticket!!

They will mail you cards - similar to a credit card shape, those are your cards that you exchange at the gate for your wristband.

Ok thanks! :) I'll watch the mail then! Funny that the CM didn't tell me that when I called?

I was given the option at check out to either print the tickets or have them mailed to me. I chose getting them mailed.

I didn't get the mail option. (Maybe because I'm in Canada?) I only got the print at home option, but then my email confirmation didn't have a link to click on to print them.
