"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Going to Disney World Nov 11 – 18, 2015. Which would be a better day for MVMCP, Thursday (Nov 12), Friday (Nov 13), Sun (Nov 15), or Tues (Nov 17)? Is one day of the week better than another? Thank you in advance

I've read that Tuesday's are the best, but I've never been before so I don't know.

We'll be there at the same time (Nov. 13-22)! We're going to the Sunday, Nov. 15th party. :)

We just booked November 10-17 and I'm so excited! We have never seen any Christmas decorations or attended the MVMCP and I'll finally be there on my birthday! I also have to decide upon the date for the party...which are the same options as mentioned above. I'm thinking Thursday, November 12. I'm reading lots of advice...any tips?

:santa: Can I make reservations to dine in the park WITHOUT a party ticket?
  • Yes - You can make your reservations up until the point that the party starts. So don't fret if you don't want to waste park time to enjoy diner with your family. However, be advised that you will be asked to leave the property as soon as your dining experience is complete. If you don't have wrist bands for that particular day, you can obtain some IF the party has not sold out.
:santa: Should I eat in a Disney restaurant while the party is going on - will I miss something?
  • Subjective. However, remember you can enter the park at 4:00 pm. If you want to you can reserve dining from 4pm on. Most would agree that you should eat either before - or during the 4-7 time periods so you DON'T waste the Christmas festivity times.
:santa: Is there a premium dining/desert party like the Halloween's Villain Soiree?
  • Nothing has been announced YET - however keep your eye on this thread as we will be keeping you updated on all of the details.

We went to the Sunday Nov 16 party last year and it was awesome!!! The park was the least crowded it felt the entire week were there, so Sundays are pretty low as far as crowds go. Main Street will always feel crowded. We always get a spot for the first parade in Liberty Square right where it turns into Frontierland since the route starts on that end. This way when it ended, we went and did everything we wanted until midnight. I would love to do the 15th party night but I'll be there until Nov 14th.

We got our tickets todY!! I checked my mde account and tickets are showing linked to to the people. Do we need to bring the tickets that were mailed in ? Or are they already linked to the bands?

I bought our tickets last week, since we're going the last day and I didn't want to put it off and then have them be sold out. I would have one very sad little girl, and a mad daddy! My husband informs me today that his company may keep him overseas all of December instead of letting him come home like he has in the past. So I need fingers crossed, magic pixie dust, everything sent our way so we can still go! I don't think I can wait until 2016 to go back to Disney, we haven't been since August 2012, and we're having withdrawals. I already have a list of restaurants, and my husband keeps adding to them, and I had to tell him we're only going to be there 6 nights and we don't do table service for lunch, so he needs to stop.

Do they post the party tickets internationally? We live in Australia but will be visiting WDW end of nov til mid dec. Hoping to attend the party on the 29th nov, but still haven't made up my mind about that date cause we have our disney cruise on the 30th nov. Not sure a late night is a good idea....my have to consider a date in December.

mum2fourkids, I am in Australia too and I bought mine for the 18th December and just printed it. I have 4 kids too and it cost me over $800 aud, I'm too scared to check the actual amount.

Hi Guys!

Yes, they will post them to Australia via Fedex

We live in Australia and had ours sent to us..and they arrived last week.

You have to pay $25.00USD for the Fedex express service
or you can print them or pick them up at will call for free

we thought the party tickets they post would be some kind of special design ticket...nope just the RFID plastic generic Disney credit card like tickets (see the attached image)

I'll update the thread soon - I'm so excited so many people are going, but it looks to me, at least on the boards that Halloween seems more popular!

Thinking about going on December 6th. We'll be attending Disapalooza and since we won't be going to the parks I thought the party might take the sting out a bit. Does this date usually sell out? I'm not ready to buy tickets as we have a trip in May and I just had to pay for the Disapalooza event tickets too. I'm trying to do a super budget trip as we have a lot of stuff planed in the next year, but I know DD (4) would love it.

Well, not qualifying for FD at least means I can form up my dates - I think we're going to get party tix for Tuesday December 15th. I don't have my notes in front of me, but I think that's the date I'd wanted. Lol.
