We are making our first trip in May! We are currently only scheduled to be there the 21st and 22nd, but may be adding the 20th to our dates (trying to find some answers about cheaptickets tickets I got). It will be my DH, DD (who turns 8 on the 22nd so this is a surprise trip for her), DD4, DS who will be 10 months, a family friend who is an AP holder, and myself. I went to DL when I was about 5 and DW when I was 16. Everyone else except our friend have never been! I'm so excited and working so hard to make this the best surprise for my daughter! Thinking about doing a day at the beach since my family has only seen the Gulf of Mexico and would love to see the Pacific Ocean. We will also be celebrating my DH finishing his Bachelor's degree and his graduation after going back to school and graduating Cum Laude while holding down a full time job (some weeks working 60+ hours--minimum 48 hours a week rotating shift), 3 kids, lots of volunteer work/leadership positions, and keeping this mama feeling loved and happy--so, we will be going to Blue Bayou as a celebration for him and a thank you to our friend for taking us to DL!


Update: We have added to our trip and will be there the 20th-23rd!

Am contemplating May.It will actually be my first May trip. Not sure of the dates yet. As far as lodging is concerned, most likely a conveniently located tree where I will set up a big nest, like a orangutan or mountain gorilla. Or just hang upside down like an old bat. Lmao! I would be on site too. Lol

My DD and I will be there May 7th through May 11th.

We get there on the 24thbut arent going to the parks until the 26th (really wish you could get tickets for longer than 5 days!) and leaving the morning of the 31st. It is our 15th trip! It will be me, husband and 4 boys- more like young men. They are 22,20,18,16. We will also have one girlfriend with us. It is our first time to take a girlfriend on a vacation with us. It is her first time to DL. She went to WDWwhen she was about 12 and didn't like it! They didn't plan it out and were completely overwhelmed. So our mission is to make her fall in love with Disney. Disney is a huge part of our lives so love of Disney is a must for a long term relationship lol (they have talked about marriage. She at least needs to be willing to do 1 Disney vacation a year- lol). Her mother (a good friend of mine) and brother (a good friend of my youngest) are joining us on the 27th.

We are all staying at the DLH and plan on doing Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining and Carthay Circle WOC dining!

We are going the 22-29 but will be in the parks 23-24 and 26-28. It will be the first time we all get to go together. My DH, me, ds8 and dd1. We are staying at the desert inn and suites.

Goin to L A too. That's Los Angeles baby..... visit Jim Morrisons infamous, I meant famous leather pants at Hard Rock Cafe.. then Dance dance dance... a moonlight dance... a L A Woman Dance ...... So get ready L A a force of one is a comin' hm... no that is not haunted mansion..... but rather a contemplation...... ah tis but a lovely thing indeed where thoughts are free to be.....

May 9-16. 2nd trip ever for me, 1st ever for my nephew!

We will be going the 17-24, staying at the Riviera Motel and spending our first few days doing Sea World,Universal, as well as spending some time in Hollywood etc. Our actual parks dates however will be the 21-23 for the 60th Anniversary celebration. SO excited to see what they have in store.

I went in my childhood, but since then this will be my DW, DS-8, DD-5 ,and my first trip to DLR May 21-24 staying at Paradise Pier and are wishing upon a star to hear there will be a 24 hr party while we are there.
