****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Chuckling, temps are forecasted for about 10 degrees lower Memorial Week now than yesterday, but of course now there are storms. I should just throw in the towel for at least two more weeks - there's no telling!

Have you started packing yet? I just made my list and realized that I have to go get alot of stuff. My hubby only has today off till we leave and I guess i am gonna go do it today. (must remember to go to home depot for my lime green mickey). Hope you have a safe trip down.

Packing is all done (at least mine is). I'm sure my husband will pack the night before. Luckily it's only me and my husband since our daughters are grown and have families of their own. However, I'm sure I'll be spastic the night before we leave running around my house cleaning.

Leaving tomorrow, and woke up yesterday with a sore throat! DH is suffering from major allergies right now too. Really hoping we'll be feeling much better tomorrow for our first trip to WDW!

Just stocked up on probiotics at the suggestion of our pediatrician. Gonna start everyone on it daily through our trip...hopefully it will help fight the inevitable tummy trouble that one of our party always ends up with.

I'm extremely excited to be leaving Saturday! I've been to WDW twice but it's our first time with the girls. (9 on 5/13/12 & 22 months!) We're staying off site at Wyndham Bonnet Creek.

I wish I would have found this board sooner so I could have "met" some people or learned more about how to plan and such!

Let me know if there is anything that I just have to know!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's excitment tones down.

Got the hardest final out of the way so I feel a little more of the excitement creeping back up. I think I went so Disney crazy the past 2 months that I wear myself out!

14 days, I don't know how I'm going to last. I will start packing this weekend!

Breakfast at 'Ohana's was great as always DH was completely blindsided by the parasailing. It was fun but we both felt a little motion sickness afterwards Pirates League was awesome, DS LOVED it and got so much attention all day long. DD loved BBB... unfortunately she took a good long nap in the afternoon and we woke her up right before our dinner at CRT and we got one of those dreaded, cranky, crabby princesses... poor Cinderella had my little girl shedding tears on her dress The picture is priceless though and then she perked up.

Unfortunately I got horrible news today... my dad was taking care of our 3 dogs and our littlest pooch, Penny the yorkie, got away from him today and took off She's missing right now so I'm a little distraught over it... hoping for some good news tomorrow from the Humane Society or someone that finds her...

Tomorrow is Universal... first time ever for DH & I... very excited but nervous too!

Unfortunately I got horrible news today... my dad was taking care of our 3 dogs and our littlest pooch, Penny the yorkie, got away from him today and took off She's missing right now so I'm a little distraught over it... hoping for some good news tomorrow from the Humane Society or someone that finds her...

Tomorrow is Universal... first time ever for DH & I... very excited but nervous too!

Here is to hoping that someone finds your puppy!!! I was worried that my dog would escape from my son while I was away, but thank goodness he stayed put.

So, we are exactly two weeks away and I am home from work today with the flu. This stinks! I have so much to do, but no energy at all. My plan today is to sleep until DD gets home from school. She's got dress rehearsal tonight, so I looks like Daddy will be on dance duty tonight. (not so sure I feel bad about that).

I guess it's better to have this now than later. I just hope I don't get everyone sick.

how is it possible my kids who are never sick are BOTH on antibiotics (one for strep and one for an ear infection) just weeks before our vacation?!?!

I just entered the under 3 week mark and now I'm really freaking out. I need to get this packing list done! and go shopping...mama needs new clothes !

Never got to the store yesterday, and the only day i am not strung out busy is sunday (mothers day) of course the holiday where i am supposed to rest now becomes the day i run around and hope i get it all done. By the way did i mention i got a job. He wants me to start Monday and work tuesday, wednesday and thursday.... by the way i leave Friday. lol just one more thing to pile on the list of must do's.

Sometimes it just rains a bit and clears up for the rest of the day. Don't get too discouraged!! We've only ever had it rain on us one time at the parks, and it was actually a nice cool down and kind of cleared it out. Maybe a pair of flip-flops in the park bag just in case.

Stuff a dry towel in each shoe and they will be dry by morning.

We will be leaving 2 weeks from today...got the t-shirts done last week...finished the mousekeepng tip envelopes and loaded them last night.

Now just to start concentrating on making sure the laundry is kept up with and start packing next week.

Well, now I love gifts. And as I was telling my young adult daughter about my plans for the weekend she informs me that on Sunday my wonderful hubby has scheduled for me to go get a manicure and pedicure and get my hair cut. When am i supposed to do this? After all this running around I will definately need my disney vacation.
