****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

24 more days!!

Just pulled out all of my clothes, took photos of each outfit to make sure I'd have enough clothes. Still need to buy a couple camis but other than that, looks like I'm fully prepared with clothes!! :yay: For some reason, I started panicking a bit today. I guess with 2 weeks of school and a house to clean and bags to pack, it sounds like so much to do!

I am so excited for our KTTK tour!

14 days for me!

What a great idea about taking pics of your outfits. I am going to try that for this trip, I feel like i am always worried last minute that I forgot to pack something so I don't have enough clothes.

Have a blast on your KTTK tour - we went last June and as a Walt Disney fan I loved it! You will learn a ton on great info. :)

I can't believe that I will be in the world a week from today! CRAZY! This is the first trip that my boyfriend and I are taking together, so it is even more exciting :cloud9:

5 days left.... but once i go to bed it will be 4!!! i can't believe its so close!!! not sure i'm going to be able to sleep all week!!!

I've been so focused on studying for my last two exams I haven't had time to get excited about our trip and planning/organizing like I usually do....I take my final on Wednesday then it is full on Disney Mode!!
My priority is to print out our rough idea for touring each day
Assemble my planner I take to the park
Write down all the confirmation numbers
Order our crocs..=-( Gonna have to pay expedited shipping...but whenever we are all in crocs nobody has foot issues.
Then start packing!

So, 3 days until I can start celebrating our trip in 2 weeks!!!:cool1:

Me too! May is always such a crazy month around here... Birthdays and a garage sale and baseball games (and a tournament this year!) and planting my gardens will keep me busy enough that the rest of the countdown will fly by almost too fast.

It is!! We haven't done a May trip since the kids' first trip, and I've forgotten how crazy it is!! End of school, parties, prep for the summer job...it'll be great to end the month at WDW, though!! :thumbsup2

This last month has been insane for me as well. Busy busy busy! But I got a few more things crossed of my to do list this weekend. We're getting closer!

Safe travels for all who are heading to the World this week!

I read about it on the DIS and thought it would be very helpful. It let's me see about where I need to do laundry and I can go through the photos and make sure each outfit is there when I pack! :thumbsup2

Thanks. I am a huge Walt Disney fan so I'll probably go into geek mode learning all the new stuff! :cool2:

Everyday is another challenge just to make it through without going insane from excitement! :hyper:

Like some of you this is our first trip in May in a long time. We usually go July/August and I never realized how many things we have to do. I have something going on every weekend until we leave. Thank goodness now that I'm in college I get out 2 weeks early so I can get everything ready!

Question of the Day:

What resort activities are you looking forward to? Boats, pool, fishing, carriage rides….?

Stormalong Bay!!!!

Going to also try smores on the beach and movies on the beach. Of course I say this every trip, and never make it!!

Strolling around the paths in the early morning :lovestruc - maybe hanging out in a hammock on the beach. Definitely some swimming time...

No question:

Stormalong Bay!!!!!

We've been watching videos with the kids and they are super excited to try it out.

Today is my baby girl's birthday!!! She officially has to pay at WDW now.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

We had her party this weekend and I just wanted to share a picture of her cake because I think it was stinking awesome.

It was red velvet with cream cheese filling with buttercream icing. The cupcakes were just vanilla with buttercream icing so that we had something for the kids who didn't want red velvet.

So, now that has been crossed off the list, we just have a couple more things to get through before we leave. We've got two weeks until DD9's dance recital and I don't have to do anything for that, so I'm hoping to get some sewing done.

Just swimming, and the arcade! :D Pop Century, heck yeah!

Although, my fiance and I are looking forward to a larger bed than we're accustomed to! And hopefully no obnoxious neighbors!

Pool, pool and more pool! And I guess the fitness center *sigh*. Yes, I do work out during vacation...it actually gives me more energy and I don't feel guilty eating all that good food (and cupcakes).

Last day of work today! Yay! Heading to the airport tomorrow morning at 10 am. :cool1::banana::yay:

Just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. But also. . .the electrical water pageant, the monorail, the beach, the hammocks, shopping and eating ;), and most likely the pool with my nieces :)
