****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

We leave tomorrow also!!! Just printed out my boarding passes. We will be at MK on wed.

We are being picked up in 13 hours and 15 min...but who's counting?

Boarding passes are printed and we will also be at MK on Wed.

Got the girls' their hair trimmed today and went to the park for an hour so tire them out. Baths and early dinner in hopes I can get them down at least an hour earlier this evening.

Just have to pack some last minute items (chargers, glasses etc) and I'm going to TRY and get some rest myself too.

So excited!!

I've been so focused on studying for my last two exams I haven't had time to get excited about our trip and planning/organizing like I usually do....I take my final on Wednesday then it is full on Disney Mode!!
My priority is to print out our rough idea for touring each day
Assemble my planner I take to the park
Write down all the confirmation numbers
Order our crocs..=-( Gonna have to pay expedited shipping...but whenever we are all in crocs nobody has foot issues.
Then start packing!

So, 3 days until I can start celebrating our trip in 2 weeks!!!

I hear ya! I just took my final exam today. Now that I don't have any homework to do, I can do all the Disney preparations that I normally would have done months ago.

For the first time, I'm planning on decorating our window at the Resort. I'm still gathering ideas since I was too busy with homework to make any final decisions. I better hurry. Only 17 days left!

It's Tough to Be a Bug

Packed my bags this morning, planning on going on one last run before the Expedition Everest 5K Saturday, and am using up the last of the perishables in the fridge tonight. DH has to work until 3 tomorrow, then we'll have nothing left to do but wait!

Leave on Wednesday and get to the World Friday!!!

Oh man, I wish!!!! Shoot, if I were that talented, I would have offered to make Lacey's wedding cake!

DH found a little bakery about 45 minutes from us that does fantastic work. He spent waaay too much, but it was worth it.

I told him that, at the rate he's going, we'd be having to pay for ginormous Disney weddings for both girls. To which he responded "Why didn't we have boys? Then we wouldn't have to pay for it." Not "No way!" or "You are out of your mind!"

Just hope that your girls get married close to home. You remember what problems we ran into when Lacey decided to get married 10 hours away.

I am actually counting down the hours.. lol.. that sounds so much better! Minutes after I posted I got a phone call from DS's school that he was sick and needed to be picked up I just hope no one else gets it and he's rid of it by Friday!

Oh, yeah, I'll have to figure out the hours!!

I hope your son is feeling better soon - get it out of his system before the trip! We've had a couple Disney trips with sick kids...luckily never anything serious. Good luck!

What resort activities are you looking forward to? Boats, pool, fishing, carriage rides….? ​

I don't think we're going to have much time around our resort, just enough for some swimming and pin trading on the day we come home. If we are around the resort I'd like to finally check out the movie under the stars but somehow we're always still busy in the parks when that's going on.

Adorable! Did you do it yourself? My 3yo wants a Figment birthday and I'm debating whether to attempt it on my own or shell out to have the bakery in town do something based on my sketch.

DH and I have to travel to Florida for some house hunting, so why not add in a couple days at our home away from home, right?!? Since we've got a big trip booked in July (10 nights) with the whole family, we are just doing two nights and it will just be the two of us.

We'll be at POFQ from May 9-11. Celebrating DH's birthday (May 10th)!

I'm thrilled to see that there are plenty of dining reservations still available and that we were able to get a room with our military discount. So excited!
