Had to chime in as I see from your tickers you have another trip planned for later in the Summer. We too are doing a short trip in May followed by another visit in the Summer-August being our week long trip w/ the kids. So excited to do a no-kid trip lol. We've done them before-SO totally worth it!

I actually get three trips within a year - one was last September with just my middle son. Talked DH into the May trip since I bought an AP for the two trips we had already planned. We've never been on our own before, but so looking forward to it. I think I'll actually have a drink while walking around World Showcase

In August, we're doing two days at IofA (WWoHP), then five nights at AKV-Kidani. I can't get excited about that trip yet though, as I'm so excited about the one in three weeks

Same here - notice I said "a" drink. I have no idea how people do a drink in every country - it can't be pretty....

Received all my travel documents today in the post. We now have everything we need to travel. Roll on May 3rd!

Hi! Count us in as well - we'll be at BC 5/18-5/20 and BLT 5/20-5/25. We're celebrating DS's 10th birthday (double digits - how did that happen?). We got our ME luggage tags in the mail today and I practically skipped back up the driveway! DH thinks I am crazy so I think I'll spend my countdown here where everyone is as excited as I am!

Getting close now!! I have to do the deep clean of my house. It's silly but I always clean the house from top to bottom before we go away. That way I can give my cat sitter the impression that I am far tidier than I actually am and, I can come home to a perfectly clean house. It helps when I'm feeling down about the trip being over to come home to no mess.

I DID NOT just talk about the trip being over in the planning thread.
Someone should kick me out for that. It's a taboo subject.

May 11 - Land at MCO @ 2:55PM where I will meet my friend who is driving up from Jupiter, FL. We will spend a couple of hours at the ASMo, where we are staying and then head to DTD for dinner and a flick.

May 12- Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure hopping

May 13 - Magic Kingdom, CRT ADR @ 8PM, stay for evening EMH

May 14 - DHS, possibly adding a hopping feature for AK or Epcot, depends on how we feel. We could ride RnR and ToT all day and never get bored though

We are taking dd's friend in August for her first trip! We had to tell her ahead of time to get all the details worked out but she is so excited

So excited!! I hung up the packing list near our suitcases, and everything we need is purchased... now we wait... impatiently!

To be honest, though, I'm glad it's 4 weeks away. I need to save more paychecks so I have spending money. XD

I deep-clean my house before I go on a trip, as well. I just hate coming home to a messy house, it makes me feel all disorganized and flustered.
