****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Off to bed. Tomorrow is officially two weeks until we leave

Getting close now!! I have to do the deep clean of my house. It's silly but I always clean the house from top to bottom before we go away. That way I can give my cat sitter the impression that I am far tidier than I actually am and, I can come home to a perfectly clean house. It helps when I'm feeling down about the trip being over to come home to no mess.

I DID NOT just talk about the trip being over in the planning thread.
Someone should kick me out for that. It's a taboo subject.

I do this too - clean the house spotless before a holiday. We always have someone stay here to take care of our dog who is spoiled b/c he never spends all that much tiime in his kenel and nor do we WANT him to be in his kenel all day so I like to make my home spotless for those staying here - I like to make it like a little hotel stay for them in a nice place Unfortunately I usually have to clean when I come home too b/c DMIL is not the best housekeeper Some day I'd LOVE to come home to a spotless house!!!

Tomorrow we get to tell DD's friend she is going to Disney

YAY!!!!

LOL I'm so glad I'm not the only one who cleans like a nutcase before vacation! My fiance just doesn't get it!

DH and I are both cleaners!

We are already depressed enough, coming home after vacation. It would be even worse if we left the house a mess for when we came home.

We usually even let the dogs stay at the boarders until the following day so that we can come home and relax without having two dogs trying to get our attention.

Only 40 days!!

Don't worrying, we are also cleaners! It's tradition, although I'm not sure why. I usually clean anytime I'm excited or nervous so I guess it definitely helps. And it's way easier to come home and the only thing that needs to be done is laundry.

We are leaving two weeks from today too!!! And a surprise for dd's friend?! That's wonderful!! You must be so excited!

We are taking dd's friend in August for her first trip! We had to tell her ahead of time to get all the details worked out but she is so excited

Her mom is also going and they are staying at a different resort (off site) I don't think I am brave enough to take someone else's kid to Disney with out a parent. I don't think my friend would let her go without her . We have been planning it for MONTHS and whispering behind her back, so YES I am so excited.

Woo hoo, just added the dining plan to our trip, we've got enough crazy reservations that I did the math and it makes financial sense. I'll get it paid off with our measley tax refund due in the next few weeks so it'll feel more like a free trip LOL

43 days and counting, i'm going to let the kids start a countdown calendar this weekend, it's starting to fell like it might actually get here some day....

Today I let out a random squeal in the tub and shouted I'm getting Sooo excited!!! DD sayd - YOU SCARED ME!!! lol but ...

I just COULDNT help it!!!

Well how did the surprise go???!!!

The friend we are bringing is almost 16 and is here almost every weekend so we feel pretty comfortable bringing her. Younger kids would worry me too.

Hey we leave 5 weeks from today , can't wait! We are staying at the Beach Club Resort, be there from the 18-24.

5 weeks from today and we'll be at Beach Club too! The kids and I were dreaming of the pool today - so excited!

We have really similar plans! The EE5K, late EMH at MK on the 6th, EPcot and late EMH at HS on the 7th, and AK on the 8th.

My sis and I are Team TollFREE. We'll be in rainbow tutus and some kind of neon green shirts for the race. Hope to see you at the race and around the parks!

Gonna do the major packing today and make a list of everything that needs to be packed last minute.

We'll be doing the race too. I will watch for Team TollFREE in the rainbow tutus My DD and I are Team Stoked Coconuts. LOL. Thats GREAT I am going to have to really kick it up a notch, or two or three if I want to lose my last 4 lb in the next week and a half but WE CAN DO IT!! Right??
