If you had to pick the next location for a Disney themed resort or park – where would it be? ​

Small setback today. I got an email this morning that our flight times were changed by an hour. Not a big deal normally, but that makes our time between connections at BWI only 35 minutes. Of course that makes me nervous. There's not a lot I can do about it but be as prepared as possible, sit as close to the front of the plane as we can and hope for the best.
It's not a huge deal for dd or my husband or I. But my ds who is only 8 will want to sit where he can see one of us clearly at the very least.. hopefully beside one of us.

Again, not something I am going to get too worked up over but it is going to make me nervous.

I could be COMPLETELY wrong and it wouldnt be the first time but I thought as long as you booked a package, you get the tags.....

The CM on the phone said they printed our "stuff" on April 1st... I imagine that's our Magical Express tickets, or something like that. Nothing in the mail today, but hopefully tomorrow!

Which airline are you flying? If it's somebody with lots of flights, I would call and demand a change, even if it gives you a big layover. They will usually do that without any charges since it's their fault. Guess that wouldn't work if it's the earliest or only flight..... but hopefully it will help! Do you also have to clear customs in BWI???

Thanks. It's with Southwest. It should be ok because it's all in one terminal and they are pretty good about waiting if necessary. Unfortunately it's the last flight of the day. If we miss it we are waiting until the next morning!
I can't leave any earlier on Friday because of work.. the next morning may be an option but that flight is 200 more per person because it is a non stop. So I think I'd like to try and make the connection and if all else fails, wait in the airport until the early am flight.

I just paid for early bird check in so that we have a better chance of seats at the front of the plane to get off and make it over to our connection. It's a little upsetting because I purposely picked a flight with a decent layover time to avoid exactly the situation I am finding myself in now

This is correct. We are not even flying and we got the new luggage tags. Same thing last year too. We have a package (room and tickets)

Thank you aroundtheriverbend!!! You got me thinking that I should at least try to see if they could help us. I called and got an awesome Disney loving rep

She switched me to the first flight out the next morning for no extra. Even though those flights were 3X what we paid for ours. And somehow I ended up with a 70 dollar credit!

So now, instead of getting to Unviersal at around 1:30 in the morning and sleeping until 11am.. we get to fly non-stop and get there at 11 in the morning! Better flights, non stop, and no change fees. I also cancelled our first night reservation at Universal and get 200 bucks back!

I agree! One of the major reasons being from Kansas sucks (and there are lots of them!) is that it's so far from basically EVERYTHING! One of my priorities on vacation is going somewhere completely different than where we live, and in order to accomplish that we have to drive hours or fly.

Well, we got snow again!! LOTS of it! LOL. I'm ok with that though b/c we've had such a mild winter and I've enjoyed more outside time this spring than ever before to this point and I'm leaving in under 3 weeks to a nice warm place so I'm ok with it.
Just all the more reason to go away right?

Well, no Mickey Mail today. I'm hoping on Monday! They said it was printed on the first... not sure how long it takes to actually send.

But I did pack some "I won't need this until we get there" items. I measure to make sure my carry-on was small enough for Delta airlines, too! (It is). I am not paying $35 for a second checked bag. $25 for one is bad enough!
