****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Question of the Day:

What are some "overlooked" attractions in any of the 4 parks?

Some of the best attractions that I feel are overlooked are:

MK – Rose Garden (It is so beautiful!!)
HS – Walt’s Museum
EP – The stores in each country, there are thousands of museum pieces from all over the world
AK – Everything! Slow down and check out every path, there is so much to see!

It seems on each trip I find something that we had overlooked before!
MK.. The Train!! Last trip was the first time we had ever used the train.

HS.. One Man's Dream

EP.. We usually do everything here. I think the Circle of Life movie is a good one though and it's not very popular.

AK.. This is one park that we only ever seem to give a half day too. I'm sure we're just missing a ton of things. I vow to give it more time on this next trip.

MK: The one ride I never see anybody on. Carousel of Progress. I've been on it a lot & never shared the room with more than 10 people.

HS: One Man's Dream, me & Dad go here when my Mum & Sister do ToT as we aren't fans.

EP: Watching the marching drummers over in the US Pavilion is seriously entertaining.

AK: The Oasis Exhibits. Because nobody stops to look at them.

Can I go now please? What if I pack my bags and sit by the front door until it's time?:rolleyes1

I am worse than a kid at Christmas. I just want to BE THERE. The music, the sights, the smells, the characters, my kids grinning from ear to ear, the big rides, the small details, the MAGIC.

I swear, I am just not going to be able to wait 3 more weeks. That's it.. I'm walking. I'll start now.:rotfl:

I'll join you when you get this far. Send me a PM! lol... :rotfl2:

Seriously I feel the same way. It's so close yet so far! My bags are packed and I have everything done. I totally forgot about Easter coming up... I just have one thing on my mind. DH is so sick of me being in "Disney mode"... lol...

Magic Kingdom: The Swiss Family Tree House... I love going up there when it's dark (spoooooky :p), or to see the park from up high. It's not thrilling or anything, but it's good for atleast one go! :p

Epcot: That station where you can try the soda from other countries. I love it. And I love tricking people into trying the bad ones. XD

Animal Kingdom: Pretty much all the animal related trails. They're interesting, I think.

Hollywood Studios: Walt’s Museum. It's so interesting!

Yesterday I started to talk about Disney yet again while dh and I were making dinner. He yelled "Disney Filter ACTIVATE!!!" and stuck his fingers in his ears.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Question of the Day:

If you had to pick the next location for a Disney themed resort or park – where would it be?

May 26 thru June 1. Pop Century for the first time. I am so excited.

You are going to LOVE POP - it's so fun. Have you been over on the POP board? TONS of information about the resort. Now, I have to tell you, POP is the only place we have stayed on property (we always stayed off site until last year)

Question of the Day:

If you had to pick the next location for a Disney themed resort or park – where would it be?

My next resort/park would be in Canada, specifically Quebec. I thing Disney could create an amazing ski resort that included all winter activities - skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice rink, ice hockey, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dogsledding, and everything else to do with snow! It would allow for those from Canada to experience Disney at a much closer place year round!

When it is summer and warm, everything could turn into a summer wonderland! Including zip lining, lake, swimming pool, chair lift rides, hiking, water slides down the slopes and so much more.

Let me know what you think

New Hampshire. And I'm not just saying that because I live here! We have a TON of open land, and a small population, so a Disney Park would spice things up! It would also give those Far Eastern US folk another option aside from "fly to Florida, or fly to California". lol
