****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

100 days from RIGHT NOW I will be somewhere in Orlando airport..either in a very, very long Immigrations line or by a luggage carrousel :)

Sooooo excited!!!

I sure wish we lived close enough to drive. I have had strang dreams that disney was behind the mall nearest me and for all of these years I could have been going there and not having to buy airline tickets:lmao::rotfl2: I guess I am really paying to much for air:rotfl:

Our airfare is booked!!:yay: Unfortunately, we always seem to pay alot for air. We are flying Jetblue for $339.00 r/t. We could fly out of NYC for a lot less, but that is a 5 hour drive one way for us.:sad2:

We had to pay the terrible price of $550.00 return trip each :( :( And that was the CHEAPEST by far that we found AND it was by flying into Tampa so the we have to drive to our condo in Kissimmee after that :( Oh well - we saved a few hundred by doing it that way so it was worth it. Sure wish there was a Disney in Canada! lol

Woop Wooop Double Digit Dance for us today :banana:

I've been doing some more 'research' over the last couple of days and I'm just getting so excited. I only wish we could have stretched it to a 2 week trip instead of 'just' 10 nights as we're coming from quite far so we'll probably be tired for a couple of days due to jetlag.

And I think with our airfare of $810 rt we have most of you beat ;-) [an extra $140 on top of that for my mum coming from Germany to London)

But yay, we're so excited.

Only problem we're having is that we can't seem to hire a car. I have a credit card but no drivers licence and my mum who would be driving doesn't have a credit card.
So we can't make it to Millenia Mall like we had planned...
Florida Mall seems to be 'easy' to get to via a couple of buses so at least we can still go there.

Hey! I would check out http://www.golynx.com/. They have pick us at the TTC and DTD. We use this to go to Seaworld!

FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED!! We have $239 roundtrip on JetBlue from New York to Orlando nonstop. I am actually VERY pleased with this rate!! It's 109 days away...almost to the double digits~~:thumbsup2

Just finalized our plans (our date changed by one day)....

Sashafarce and I are taking her 2 year old niece (first visit) from May 8 - May 12 and we are staying at All Star Sports on the Deluxe Dining Plan. We have the hotel booked and all the ADRs made (all character dining :yay:).

:cheer2::cheer2:

we're taking the bus to the Premium Outlets, Walmart and Florida Mall but the Mall of Milennia is just too much of a trek with three transfers from our hotel to the mall and it would probably take almost two hours door to door when it's much less driving distance.
But a taxi is too expensive :(

BTW if anyone needs/wants anything from the UK (food?) let me know and we can see if our schedules overlap one day while at Disney.
We're staying at CSR May 2nd-12th

100 days from right now we'll be walking down Main Street!!! It seems like it's coming up so fast!!!

Yesterday was DH's birthday and he bought himself a new car! Spoiled brat! Sooo there goes my chance of going to Disney in fall but that's okay. I really should wait till Fantasyland is completely finished and my daughter is 5.

I've also started messing around with ADR's again as well. I'm trying to keep it somewhat reasonable BUT my MIL really wants to have a "fancy" meal so I'm trying to decide on a signature for just her and I on our Epcot day. I can't decide between countries so I thought maybe somewhere nearby... I still don't know though. I don't want to break the bank over eating out (kinda silly really)...

The rest of our group decided to wait a week to go, so much to my dismay we changed our dates.

We will now be going 5-28 - 6-4 @ VWL and 6-4 - 6-5 @ CBR

I'm from Canada so we could do the same thing too :) lol

I'm almost in the double digits, over here! :D Everyone's very excited... and we all had some "UH OH" moments because we need to pay the trips off by March! :lmao: Thankfully I'm only a few hundred dollars off...

Man, that is tempting. I could gorge myself on Flake bars. Plus my mom brought home these awesome shortbread cookies when she visited England a few months ago. Mmmmmm. I will pass but just bringing this up guarantees I will have lovely chocolate centered thoughts today.
