Official May 2011 thread!

We are going May 21-28! We have 4 day hopper ticket and I have not started planning yet. And some of you are already packed?!?

wow - I think I need to come up with a plan NOW!!!

We will be there May 20-23 for Star Wars week-end!!!! Iam planned but not packed...we r LUCKY and only live 2 hours away from the mouse!! Planning is the best part:goodvibes

A friend and I are going May 23 - 27th with a 4-day park-hoppers. I am so excited! Mostly because its her first time going to Disney and the last time I went was 2006 so I can't wait to see all the new stuff I've missed!!

We are really getting down the important stuff now. I made one other ADR, so we have two of those and QS plan. Because of school I'll only have about a week to pack, it should be interesting XD

WooHoo!! :cool1:

I just booked a totally last minute and unexpected trip for May 16-24th!!!
Never have booked a WDW vacation this last minute - kind of crazy!

This trip is a total surprise for our son (9) - the biggest Star Wars and Disney freak I have ever known! I can't tell anyone about the trip to make sure he doesn't find out!

:cool1::cool1:

So if MK opens at 8 on the 6th and 7th due to grad nights is that considered EMH? How do the parks know if you are staying onsite or not?? I have 10 hopper no-expire tickets, so we coan't get in at 8 then?? So confused. If a park has EMH in the evening do they check if you are staying on-site??

Hmm, there are hours in there that don't match Disney's website. How does that happen?

From what I understand (see the post on the theme parks forum) Disney does not update their website as often as they do the travel agents calendar. The recommendation is to follow this calendar rather than the Disney website.

If the hours at the top say 8am - 9pm (for example), that is the hours for the general public. If at the bottom of the page it says that park has AM EMH, then the park would open at 7am to on-site guests. If it says that it has PM EMH then the park will stay open 3 hours later (12am) for on-site guests. AM = 1 hour early/ PM=3 hours later.

For AM you have to show your KTTW card to get into the park. For PM you will need to show you KTTW card for each ride/show, etc.

Hope that answers your questions!

Yes, if there are EMH hours they will ask to see your KTTWC to make sure all guests are staying on Disney property.
